”Our host Jason went out of his way to ensure we had a good stay at his place. We had support in getting to use a local pool, with groceries and transportation to our next location to mention a few. If you need local insights and super hospitality then go with Jason. The location is in a quiet local neighbourhood and it feels safe to have kids running around outside. Walking to the beach is possible, but can be a bit hard for little ones up to 4 years old (especially considering the heat). Go to...

”Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects.
That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that...

”Our stay at Hotel Amira was beyond expectations and exceptional. The location and the staff, especially the hotel manager, went above and beyond to make our stay more than comfortable. The location was great. Several choices of restaurants nearby and close to beaches. Having stayed at many places in Costa Rica I would highly recommend Hotel Amira as a great place to stay.”

”Stay was decent , staff was great. But the rooms didn't have hot water again. I stayed there in January and there was no hot water. The same thing happened this time. You have to fix the hot water. Thank you”

”Nuestra estancia en este hotel en Costa Rica fue en general agradable. La limpieza de la habitación fue excelente y el aire acondicionado funcionaba muy bien, lo cual hizo la estancia muy cómoda. También las instalaciones del hotel estaban limpias y bien cuidadas.
Sin embargo, el desayuno ofrecía poca variedad para vegetarianos. Además, siempre había solo dos tipos de fruta disponibles, lo cual resultaba algo limitado.
La zona de la piscina era agradable, pero había muy pocos lugares con...
