”We LOVED our stay at the La Aldea de la Selva Lodge! We were in the area to go to Iguazu Falls, and this was a perfect location! It was probably the coolest hotel I've ever stayed at because it was in the jungle! It was a really AWESOME experience! We felt like we were on Survivor, walking to tribal council each night as we headed to our cabin. ”I was in Iguazu for less than 24hrs. Martin facilitated a driver to pick me up from the airport and take me straight to the Falls and then pick me up after my excursion. The room I had was spacious, wifi worked well. I appreciated the hot water. Please carry enough cash in Iguazu.The caipirinha I had at the restaurant was a delight as well as the creme brulee. Would have loved to see the rest of the hotel in the daytime.”

”Staff was helpful. Room was clean but towels were old with stains and black spots on walls that I was concerned may be mold. The lobby was nice but the cabin was a bit run down.”

”Loved this hotel. Pool area is beautiful and great for children too. Staff is welcoming and polite. We got a renovated room on the fourth floor which was perfect, huge and spotless. I cannot say about the rooms that have not yet been refurbished. The wifi is very bad, but that is propably the case in all of the hotels in the area.”

”This place is nice enough. Biggest challenge is that it is far from the center of town - a better choice if you have your own vehicle than if you are taxi based. I'd also note that they arranged a taxi for me but didn't make it clear that I needed to be prepared to pay cash for it - and when this problem became clear upon check in, they weren't able to cover for me and put it on my room - which a better hotel would have done - this type of thing makes the difference between a three and a five...
