Tropical depression during our 8 nights stay in Puerto Princesa. Cloudy and rainy. Without great base would have lost our minds. Good restaurants very near, by Tricykle few minutes away. Cost 1 USD for two. Internet working good. Air con, shower etc. working perfect. Personnel very helpful and nice. Would recommend!

Munting Paraiso is a lovely property with warm, friendly staff. The grounds are attractive, well groomed and clean. This is a different type of atmosphere than the cookie-cutter resorts. Each of the rooms are in their own separate building giving you a very private feeling. There are several very large very old trees on the grounds that add to the beautiful atmosphere. The pool is nice and clean. The staff is very attentive and courteous. The food at the restaurant is tasty. I give a 4-star rating to this superb property.

It was a nice quant little hotel. The service was great! A short 10-12 minute walk from other food places. It was very nice and quiet. We were only here for a day and a half. The room was a bit outdated and shower needed updating because it was getting rusty already. They were low on a lot of food items at their restaurant so we opted to not order from them. Pool is nice, and they have a small but workable gym. Front desk was very nice and polite. Not too much privacy as our window over looks other people’s balcony. But overall if you are looking for a cute short stay hotel, it’s definitely a great value! Will stay here again!

I stayed on this property for 5 nights. It's a property of 12 bungalows that have a kitchenette big room with the terrace with table, hameck you could seat outside enjoy the weather. The staff are very polite.The service they provide was out of this world. This place was very private and quiet. I'm definitely coming back again.

I appreciated that it was a bungalow and had a good amount of space. The pool was lovely and I enjoyed having the hammock. The restaurant was convenient, and overall it is a lovely place to stay. We were only there for a night in transit back from El Nido.

It was almost like that small town feeling. Service was right on the place was spotless. The owner and his daughter were always right there so if there ever was problem it would be immediately taken care of but there never was a problem. The rooms were big with full kitchen where I could cook if I want to . Security was great. The restaurant is never packed so no waiting for your food. The amenities were great a lot of tour options. Massage, and transportation. I will definitively be back to this property my next vacation because I am going back to Palawan and will start here.

Above all the positives was the hospitality of the staff. Communication was efficient and everyone was friendly and welcoming from the moment we were timely met at the airport to until we were well beyond the property. Everyone is smiling and approachable and ready to help out, from if you need anything to just a conversation. The stay is perfect. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the surrounding was so relaxing we even decided to stay in one evening, enjoying the surrounds instead of exploring the city. When we return to Puerto Princesa, we hope that Munting Paraiso will have a room for us again.

Small quaint resort, 12 bungalows. Nice pool and stay is friendly. More laid back not run like a professional resort, had an excursion at 7am went to the restaurant at 6am (posted opening time) and nobody around until 6:20... Many things on the menu were not available. Nothing within walking distance...

Usually what we do, if we don't have that many of guests we inform them that and ask what time they would want to have breakfast. So we can adjust with the time. 분위기 좋고 조용히 쉬기 좋아요 하지만 요청을 해야만 청소를 해주는지 4박 동안 청소 한번 안했어요 식당은 가격대비 별로여서 몇번 먹고 외부로 나가서 먹었어요 SM몰은 나갈땐 50페소 돌아올땐 80페소(4인탑승) 들었구요 여행업체 통해서 투어신청했는데 픽업왔어요 숙소 밖에 소파 테이블 있고 해먹도 있는데 모기가 너무 많아서 힘들어요 선풍기라도 있으면 좋았을텐데요 수영장은 생각보다 깊고 작아요

欧米人旅行者が好みそうな隠れ家的ブティックホテル。静かに過ごすには申し分のないホテルである。ただし、レストランについては料金と内容が釣り合っていないのが残念だった。二度目を利用する気になれないレストラン。もっと腕の良いシェフを探すか、ローカルレストラン並の料金に引き下げるべきである。ホテル近くに適当なレストランがないので、本当に困った。

Le Munting Paraiso est un hôtel parfait pour votre séjour à Puerto Princesa. A l’écart de la ville (une dizaine de minutes en tricycle), chaque chambre, très spacieuses, ont leur propre terrasse. We loved the privacy of the units and the outdoor patio area. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only minor downfall was having to catch a tricycle every time you wished to go somewhere, but not a major problem. All in all a great time and loved the place PS Don't do the fire fly trip, waste of money, as there weren't any.

A relaxing place to stay, that’s tucked away in a little corner of Puerto Princessa. Staff were very warm, welcoming and helpful. They arranged excursions, dinner reservations, lifts into town and in-room massages for us. I’d definitely love to go back for a visit.

Great Place to relax & spend quality time!
This place is great for anyone who wants to get away from the hustle & bustle of a busy life. I had a great quality time bonding with my family especially with my kids! The staff were very friendly, accommodating, and helpful with all our needs. The place was very clean. And the owners who we met were very humble and grateful for us visiting their paradise. So far, this is my number one place in my list that I will definitely go back!

LITTLE PARADISE
Great place. Couldn't fault it. As someone who believes in sustainability, this hotel ticks a lot of boxes. Mr Heinz, the should give himself a pat on the shoulders. Only a year old, he has built the 12 units of accomodation around existing century year old trees. Solar lighting and underground water are some of the features used in this built. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The pool is amazing. If I have to nick pick, I would suggest the coffee house need to have more variety. That is not an issue as a P50-100 tricycle ride would get you to town where more restaurants are available. Definitely great for couple or families. Will stay here again if ever back to P.P. Highly recommended.

Amazing place great staff beautiful resort and the bungalows are great. We will definitely come to stay here again. The name translates to little Paradise and that exactly what it is. The staff were amazing and always so helpful and friendly. We can't wait to go back.

Our experience in this hotel is very good. Staff are very friendly. Place is very clean. The only only thing we didnt like is the food that we had during dinner. But their breakfast is good though. But besides that everything is great.

Little paradise
We came across Munting Paraiso by chance since our flight was delayed and we needed to stay a night in PP. We loved it. It is truly a little paradise with beautiful grounds and kind staff helping you in any way they can. We decided to delay our trip to El Nido and stay one more night doing an underground river tour. This place is a gem
We chose to stay here due to there being nothing but amazing reviews online and it did not disappoint!! The bungalows are exactly as described and seen online – spacious and clean and everything is just right. The outside varanda/lounge area makes all the difference as the entire resort has beautiful landscaping and sits beneath the most magnificent massive trees that together make for the most tranquil and chilled environment. The food is good and so reasonable so you literally do not have to move if you don’t want to, but otherwise just a great place to come back to after a day out exploring. What is not mentioned online is that there is great fiber internet here which is rare in the Phillipines and such a bonus when away from home, and the aircon is super strong!! I must also make mention of the amazing staff here who are totally helpful and nothing is too much, there is a sizeable staff compliment and I am not great with names but I do remember Marvin being one of the many who were consistently happy to go the xtra mile helping with anything – this is also a huge plus when arranging tours and your further….the owners are totally hands on and available to help with any recommendations you may need and such lovely and chilled people – this all contributed to an environment of complete relaxation (BTW – suggested by them Kalui restaurant is by far the best restaurant in town and must do!!!!) I can highly recommend this resort - it has made our trip!!

Little piece of paradise
Recommend this resort for couples want to spend time together relaxing and enjoying the ambiance. Modern units, beautiful landscaped gardens, peaceful atmosphere.

Great staff at Munting
Incredibly friendly room and restaurant staff. Nothing was too much trouble. WiFi was awful though. Kept losing connection for sustained periods so if you need to work or like to read online then think again.

Wish we had another night!
This hotel gives you a resort feel with the layout and amenities. The pool was very refreshing at the end of the day and the tours/transportation was easily booked through the staff. Marvin was a superstar in helping us arrange transport to El Nido and other tours such as the firefly and underground river tour. I truly wish we had another day there because each room had an outdoor deck/lounge to hang out and relax in! Loved this place!

Beautiful boutique resort
This small resort is amazing! It's new and once the word gets around more, it will be booked solid. Our villa was very private and each one has it's own patio with nice furniture. It was beautiful to sit outside on the patio at night. The villa's are sparsely furnished but nice and modern. The bathroom is modern with a rain shower head. There is a small fridge as well as a safe in the room. The pool is gorgeous as are the grounds. Nicely landscaped. There is one restaurant/bar. It is spacious and they have an upstairs bean bag lounge that is funky. The service is exemplary, from the free airport shuttle to the reception, to the pool side delivery. Ask for a drink and they will serve it to you wherever you would like. The only downfall, would be the location. It is a bit far from the hub of things but this was o.k. for us as we were there to relax. Would definitely recommend!

beautiful clean hotel
Beautiful well looked after resort. Wonderful staff that do there very best to accommodate your needs. There is a restaurant onsite (breakfast is not included in room cost), we had one meal here but sadly I would not recommend. There is not much to see around the area but hotel will call a taxi or trike to take you into town, restaurants etc. Room is large opening onto terrace area, bathroom okay but a bit smelly at times.
