”Incredible experience! Personable and authentic staff; sleep in the jungle and get to view everything (sloths, monkeys, etc) others pay guides to see; footsteps from a stunning beach, this is a truly an all in one Costa Rica experience. But as the website notes, this is for those that want a more raw experience, so don’t expect the hottest showers or finest linens. But you are very well taken care of and staff are very responsive. ”This is a very peaceful hotel with a nice pool and beautiful landscaping. The town and main road can be overwhelmingly loud and busy at times, so it was great to have a little oasis of calm just outside the main centre. The room was comfortable and well appointed and all three breakfast options were tasty. ”

”We would give this property more stars if we could! Most unique experience ever. We loved our tent, the decor, all the special touches and the service was excellent! The included breakfast was delicious! Fresh fruit, selection of local coffees, homemade jam and bread, etc.

There was a small store almost across the street.
I also wish they had beach chairs. Take a small soft collapsible ice chest for the beach. I felt very safe there and traveling around the area. Rent a rav 4 or similar. Go beach hopping , explore off the beaten path a little. Not difficult to do. Plug your phone in to the car. You will be fine. ”
