Lomapuistot – Puerto Viejo de Talamanca

”The property was beautiful and clean, the staff was lovely and incredibly helpful, and the breakfast was amazing! Having only one coffee in the room for the 4 mornings (i.e. not replaced each day) was disappointing, but forced us to go out for a local coffee instead. Having small/snack items for late arrivals and/or while the bar is open would be a great idea.”

”Great location and not to far from town”

”Angelo was so helpful with after hours check in. This place is adorable. The room had a kitchen and that is a great addition if you are staying longer than a night. The pool was nice and refreshing. There is an outdoor sitting space outside your room that is nice as well.”

”This is wonderful location. It is away from the busy areas with a 5 minute walk to the beach. The property was beautiful and the hosts were amazing.”

”The hotel is very modern and clean. My suite was very large and the surroundings are lovely. Staff is very friendly and the guard pointed me some animals hidden in the garden. Like a sloth having a nap in bar stool. Pool is nice but not for swimming. It's not deep enough. Lots of it is kids pool or ankle deep sitting water. Big pool all in all but for sitting, not swimming. Bring earplugs to sleep with because of the howler monkeys. They truly are loud and start at 5am. You hear them more at...

”We booked a room based off the pictures in Expedia however the room we received was nowhere close what was on the pictures. Our room was also behind the bar and noisy. The AC also dint work in a country where the temperature went to 36C. The sink was broken. The room itself was very mediocre. The staff finally changed our rooms on day 3. The staff were very accommodating but the experience was extremely disappointing.”

”I can only praise and give positive feedback!! Lovely place & lovely couple who owns it and takes care of you, proposes activities, tells stories about the food, locations etc. Lovely breakfast available every morning, in adittion to the coffee available every morning, which they bring to your room. Lovely place with sloths, birds etc around the premises. Lovely location a bit out of town but close to a nice beach, a store and still only a few min drive from town.”

”Excelente lugar muy completo”

”I loved how peaceful my stay was. The staff was friendly and always available. The only downside was the hot water not working day of check out”

”Excelente servicio Todo el Staff excelente Barny excelente anfitrión”

”Great stay, I really recomend”

”El trato de la propietaria fue excelente, bastante disposición y atención al cliente. Desayuno de calidad!”

”Lovely, family owned property. The only thing that would have been helpful would be to have more room amenities such as mini fridge, microwave, hangers, more towels… etc. Property is clean, close to everything in Puerto Viejo, within walking distance to the beach, has a good breakfast, and staff is very friendly.”

”We had a wonderful stay with great hosts. We woke up every morning to the howling monkeys. The place is peaceful, off from the quite busy main road. A path is leading to the beautiful, beach on walking distance. ”
