”My husband and I stayed a week at Casa Verde. The cabin is very eclectic/rustic, but had everything we needed. Annie the owner was extremely easy to get in contact with and is very helpful with any questions we had.If you want a laid back get away close to the beach and within walking distance to restaurants, we can recommend 100%! ”We had a wonderful time at Casa Luna House. The property is beautiful and well maintained. We loved the outdoor spaces and it worked out well for us to have the separate rooms downstairs, it gave my daughter and her partner privacy while I was upstairs with her teenagers. ”I loved this place. We had a great stay. A few things to note: all rooms face the outside. Like a motel. Kitchens/living rooms are outside too. Mosquitos everywhere. ”sylvia was so accommodating and provided us with very helpful tips for our stay. before arriving she helped recommend and book multiple excursions and tours for us. and anytime we had questions while we were there she answered on whatsapp or in person very quickly. she’s very kind and el jardin is a lovely quiet and safe little place ”

”Beautiful house and property tucked right in the jungle, with direct beach access. Very close to Punta Uva which has great swimming and surfing for kids. Easy drive to Puerto Viejo for restaurants. Super clean, very well maintained, good A/C. Hosts were extremely helpful and responsive - they organized a private driver from SJO to the house, and then to the car rental the next day. Highly recommend!”

"The hotel is very modern and clean. My suite was very large and the surroundings are lovely. Staff is very friendly and the guard pointed me some animals hidden in the garden. Like a sloth having a nap in bar stool. Pool is nice but not for swimming. It's not deep enough. Lots of it is kids pool or ankle deep sitting water. Big pool all in all but for sitting, not swimming. Bring earplugs to sleep with because of the howler monkeys. They truly are loud and start at 5am. You hear them more at pool bungalows and can sometimes spot them far away. You can also see sloths at the River, I had better luck at evening spotting them drinking and climbing. There is a small store accross the street but for most things you need a car or a bike ride. The beach is few min walk away and is nice and rustic. Lot's of driftwood which is cool. The Instagram worthy palm tree beach is 10-15 min walk away on the other side of the hill with the sea cave. Definately worth checking out. "
