”Very nice. We were in the newer section in the back - the space worked for us. Overall the hotel is fine - we ate dinner there once. Sat on the porch which was a little cold - they have plastic curtains to close it off (to a degree) and radiant heaters. Seems like they were a bit light on staffing - saw only 2 waitstaff - so they had a hard time keeping up. We were there at the end of the season (mid April) so I need to cut them some slack. Russell is nice and peaceful, but quite small. ...

”I had a wonderful stay and was genuinely impressed. The apartment exceeded my expectation, it was even nicer than the photos, and the view was absolutely stunning. Everything was spotless, the staff were warm and welcoming, and the restaurant food was delicious. The location was perfect, with everything close by, and it catered beautifully for my children. ”Exellent for all kinds of travellers. Kids loved pool, play ground and flying fox. Kayaking was great. Near Paihia and Waitangi which were great to explore.”

”Very cozy motel, spacious rooms. Gentleman in the reception very friendly. Good location. Only minus thing is that the WIFI didn’t work at all in bedroom, only in the livingroom side. Also, same problem that can be found in many hotels: no plugs next to bed where you could charge the phone during the night and use alarm clock. ”
