”This is a really beautiful place and the room was enormous and the layout was so in keeping with the heritage level of the building. There was a tea set for tea or coffee, a king sized bed, a sofa for relaxing and a bath. Total luxury!”

”Our 60th WA. The room was lovely. The staff especially Thomas in front house reception. A delightful and helpful young man. Richard our waiter was great and a fun sense of humour. The meal was fantastic. And the lovely waitress who brought us 2 glasses of complementary bubbles We had a wonderful weekend Thank you”

”Exellent for all kinds of travellers. Kids loved pool, play ground and flying fox. Kayaking was great. Near Paihia and Waitangi which were great to explore.”

”Spacious suite overlooking dense greenery - like staying in a treehouse! Super nice hosts, easy walk to the historic part of town, good wifi/tv, large, comfortable bed, wonderfully dark and quiet at night, easy parking. Gorgeous communal space - would be super if travelling or meeting with a group.”

”Very cozy motel, spacious rooms. Gentleman in the reception very friendly. Good location. Only minus thing is that the WIFI didn’t work at all in bedroom, only in the livingroom side. Also, same problem that can be found in many hotels: no plugs next to bed where you could charge the phone during the night and use alarm clock. ”

”Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. John ist sehr aufmerksam und gibt Tipps für Unternehmungen und Umgebung. Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich. Kleine Küchenzeile ist auch vorhanden. Ich war in Einheit 7 und hatte von der Terrasse aus Blick aufs Wasser. Nur die Live Musik am Wochenende von nebenan hat etwas gestört aber das lag daran, dass die Dame einfach nicht singen konnte. ”

”Ein grosses schönes Zimmer - fast schon ein Haus zu einem fairen Preis, wenn es einem nichts ausmacht, dass man ca 30min zum Dorf laufen muss, hat aber einen guten Weg. ”

”The hotel was nice and clean. We booked an extra night and had to change room, all went smoothly. There was a seaview as the neach is really close. Also a nice small poolarea. Staff was very friendly. There was no restaurant, but we had very good breakfast in a restaurant next door. ”
