”The check-in process was OK due to some confusion about what ID they required. The room itself was clean. Although this is the third Motel 6 I have stayed in where the bathroom door has been fixed due to what looks like someone trying to break it down. The carpark isn't in the best condition. Also I stayed over a Saturday and Sunday and there were only a few spots left on the Saturday. Conveniently located to public transport to get into Downtown Chicago.”

”The fridge wasn’t working, but after 2 calls, they brought a new one to my room. Also, I called the day before to see if the pool was open because on the site, it said it was closed. When I arrived, they said the pool was working but I didn’t bring a swimsuit.”

”After having to scramble to find a room last minute this was available. The lady at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean. The floors looked new but the room was kind of ruin down. Was annoyed that there were no local tv stations to watch. ”

”Our family stayed five nights in two queen sixed beds rooms. Rooms were nice and clean. Housekeeping came everyday. Our rooms were next to the nearby highway and the traffic noises were quite loud. Breakfast was better than in other hotels we stayed: pancakes, boiled eggs, breakfast muffins, yoghurt, cerials, bagels, fruit... Only minus was hotel wifi which did not really worked anywhere. Everything went well: staff was friendly and they responded quickly when needed. Our bathroom faucet...

”I honestly do not know how this hotel is operating at the price point they are charging. I checked in during a sold-out weekend in Chicago and paid nearly the same price I later paid at a much nicer DoubleTree, which made this experience even more disappointing. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt uncomfortable and unsafe. The hallways, rooms, and overall condition of the property gave very little confidence in cleanliness or upkeep. I refused to sleep under the hotel sheets and...

”Very nice hotel. The room is beautiful, beds are comfy and clean. The overall decor was very high-end. The staff was very friendly and helpful mostly. The daily amenity fee has no value however; you get glass bottled water which is nice and records and record player in the room - not worth $29 (there's no pool or complimentary food just the bottled water in the room and lemon water in the lobby during the day). It was surprising to find that the front desk area and elevator lobby lights...

”Water leaked from the wall in between the tub and toilet when the shower is turned on which leaves a huge puddle of water that spreads into the room. I also left a horrible horrible smell and the attendant apologized but said that there was nothing they could do. Very disappointed”

”When I arrived at the property the staff was so welcoming and kind which made my check in process very pleasant and efficient. When i entered my room was it was clean and due to the weather at a very tolerable chill room temp. I enjoyed my stay and I will return soon.”

”We couldn't check in til after 4 because no rooms was ready. Then we was rushed out at 10 30. The staff had an attitude.”

”The room was basic and clean but the breakfast was pissed poor. On toast, cereal and juice. No elevator and the other stairwell smelled like smoke. And no exercise room, false advertisement. The positive: They allowed for early check-in at a good fee.”

”Stayed 5 nights. Only 2 nights I was able to sleep through the night. Night 1, woman yelling in hallway and her kids were running and screaming at 2:30am. Night 2, neighbors and kids were in the hallway talking loud and digging through bags with Styrofoam boxes in them. Night 4, neighbor was in and out of their room ALL NIGHT, they had the latch flipped to prop door open and the door shut hard causing it to bounce off the latch eache time they came in and out.
