”We decided to spend a little more on accommodation than we would normally do, and I am so glad we did. I'm sure our trip to Northland would not have been the same if we hadn't. ”We stayed 6 nights at this wonderful accommodation. Throughly enjoyed our stay as well as all that the far North has to offer. The hosts were so hospitable and engaging. They certainly made us feel at home and nothing was too much for them. The view of the harbour from our hilltop room was spectacular and the surrounding native bush was the perfect get away. Along with stunning views we enjoyed a delicious breakfast and delightful company each morning. Highly recommend a stay at Allegra House. ”

Excellent location for getting to quay fir boat and ferry trips and within walking distance of Waitangi Treaty Grounds. (Although the steep walk back up hill after a day out is quite tough...but view was worth it). ”

”Excellent. Very convenient. Room was spacious and well-equipped. Staff was very nice. We actually couldn't make it for the first night because of a change in plans so we tried to contact the hotel but couldn't get through. When we arrived the next day, we did not get any funny looks or stares. We just got the same nice, courteous service we would expect. Plus, the location cannot be beat. Right on the beach. You can literally see the ocean from here! And feel that nice sea breeze wafting through...
