Worst vacation I’ve ever had—starting from the moment we arrived. Check-in was a nightmare; we didn’t get into our room until after 5 PM, and my other family members 7pm. The staff was extremely rude, unwelcoming, and clearly overwhelmed. It was obvious they were short-staffed and completely disorganized.
My family members had cockroaches crawling around on multiple occasions. They documented this with pictures and videos, showed them to management—and absolutely nothing was done. Not even an apology.
The water in the bathroom smelled like raw sewage, making it nearly impossible to shower or brush our teeth comfortably. The beach, which we were hoping would salvage the trip, was filthy—covered in seaweed and the water itself was murky green, likely polluted from nearby marine traffic.
We were traveling with a large group and were willing to pay extra to be accommodated properly. Still, no effort was made by the resort to meet any of our needs.
Even higher management was rude, the last front desk manager we encounter 7/31/25 at 1:30 pm, told me "this a business" when I told him that we had been treated so bad, not like tourist.
This experience was not just disappointing—it was infuriating. I would never return, and I will actively discourage anyone I know from visiting Lopesan. You’re better off staying home. Save your money, time, and energy
