Our room was very nice, we had the suite with the living room and very large balcony. It was very private and spacious. The towels in the room were old looking, they were clean but they definitely need to update them. We weren’t given any hand towels or washcloths. We called and they brought 2 hand towels and no washcloths.
Service was extremely inconsistent, we didn’t get a butler, other people did. During check in, we noticed other people that were checking in were given a tour of the property, we were taken to a staircase and told your room is up there. We were also told to go to the restaurant at 9:00 in the morning to make dinner reservations. Which we did, later we overheard people talking to their butler about making reservations which he did for them. Later in the week we discovered a screen in the buffet that you could make reservations, so we used that. Service at the buffet and bar were touch and go, the bar took a long time and it wasn’t that busy and if you wanted a drink when you went to the buffet, even water, sometimes they’d come over, other times they didn’t or they’d take your drink order and never come back, very inconsistent, same with the pool service.This resort is very quiet, which we liked. There was no bar to sit at which I found strange. The grounds are lovely,we walked to the beach every day instead of taking the shuttle. It’s very safe. The people working at the resort were very friendly. I just think they need to work out a few things.
