”Loved our stay at this “hostel” (doesn’t feel like a hostel, in a good way)! You can tell that the owner, Marcus, puts a lot of thought and effort into making this place comfortable for the guests. Super impressed with everything, and would stay here again! Thank u!!!”

Only I convenience was there was no TV but then again we were in vacations so didn’t need it much but would have liked to watch tv for a bit ”
”The property is well-maintained and the staff is super friendly and attentive. It’s not “on the beach” but within walking distance, which is actually nice because it’s away from the partying surfer hot spots. We had a quiet, relaxing stay and again- the staff is so nice. Would stay here again. ”
”Very nice stay. Loved that El Tunco is right behind the property.. access to beach, restaraunts all in the backyard. The staff was great. Wanted to leave (late check out) and was told we couldn’t after calling the night before because someone booked the room. That was disappointing but we were able to stay on the resort until 4pm. Room was small for two if you want space but amazing view, clean, food was okay and bar was a nice vibe. Got a massage for 1 hour for $50. All in all had a great time!”
”This hotel was very expensive considering the location and the country. With almost 200 USD per day one would expect very good facilities and service. This was not the case. Room was very basic and there was no TV as an example. Breakfast was OK but plain and very simple. Staff mostly did not speak English.”
”This property was lovely. Just be aware there are a lot of stairs from the boardwalk up to the hotel, but they do have a ramp as well. It is walking distance to many places to eat, dine etc. Also they did not have a full body mirror, but other than that everything was great! ”
”Tunco is a quaint beach town were surfing is the primary attraction. A walk along the streets, shops, and street vendors make for a colorful experience but be prepared to sweat as virtually nothing is air conditioned except our hotel room that was a great refuge from the heat. This hotel was the right place to stay and we will return. Wait staff in restaurant was only average, but rest of staff was great! Breakfast ok with no substitution made choice more complicated... ”
”We love Garten Zonte! Comfortable large room, delicious food, good drinks, stunning pool with ocean views, staff is ready for any requests and delivers quickly with a smile and always so friendly. The beach below is spectacular. The resident parakeet Pistachio completely made my day flying on my shoulder and giving me a smooch!!! We can’t wait to return for our wedding on the rooftop patio next year:)”
