”Hotel has 12 cats. Also 3 dogs, but more importantly 12 cats :)
Quiet oasis short walk away from noisy Mancora centre. Huge terrace to have breakfast, which was simple but filling.
Rooms are spacious and air-conditioned, with comfortable bedding. Big shower cubicle.
Staff is very responsive, my Spanish is not the greatest, so sometimes things got lost in translation, but we managed.
Oh, did I mention that the hotel has 12 cats?”

”Very comfortable beds, clean. I have no complaints, poor wifi and breakfast was weak but we had no problem with it. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and nice balcony, very friendly helpful staff. There is a restaurant just beside the hotel,El Mirado, to the left if you have your back to the ocean which is worth checking out, have to walk up a hill, well worth the walk.
Not a lot of stir, bring a book.”

”We really enjoyed our stay at La Capitanna. The view is amazing and so was the food. We had their pizza and the breakfast was great (specifically the bread). Can't say enough good things about the hospitality as well everyone was so nice and we really loved the dogs. They went on a walk with us both days to keep us company. ”
