”Quaint cottage style rooms that looks like it’s from the 60s or 70s. Rooms come with a kitchenette, cutlery, plates, and fridge. Bathroom shower is literally just a walled off portion of the room without a door or even shower curtains. No towel rack next to the shower so I draped my towel over the back of chair I dragged into the bathroom. No power outlets next to the bed, one of the bedside night light quartz bulbs was burnt out. Large Samsung SMART TV was a saving grace. Wi-Fi was adequate but...

”Very tastefully decorated and beautifully furnished accommodation with lovely views out over Lake Taupo. The suite had everything we needed and more. Lots of lovely little touches. Breakfast was excellent. Liz and Steve were very welcoming hosts and we would not hesitate to recommend Belle Vue. We shall certainly stay here again if we come back to Taupo.”
