”Clean room and property. Staff excellent as they were helpful and quick helping us change rooms after an issue with a faulty shower handle. Not their fault. Only thing we’d like to see better would be more of a healthier breakfast selection…”

”Rooms were spacious and clean”

”Staff was extremely helpful. Best accessible bathroom in any hotel we've stayed in. Dolly was particularly helpful”

”Clean Facility”

”We had a lovely one-night stay here on our way back to New York from the Catskills. The room was modern and spacious, and the hotel offers free parking and a heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. The staff were friendly, and breakfast was good too. Overall, a really enjoyable and convenient stay. Would happily recommend!”

”We mostly enjoyed our stay at Bear Mountain. Respectfully, The Overlook Lodge is closer to a roadside motel than a Lodge. There’s no staff on site or elevators, so fair warning if you have a lot of stuff with you and staying on the 2nd floor. This is probably a little nitpicky, but the lighting is so cold and it feels like a hospital in all of the common areas and the rooms. It would help a lot to consider replacing light bulbs with a warmer color temperature (like 2700k). Otherwise, the...

”The front desk was horrible didn't greet you or give you information such as breakfast or anything about hotel. Looked like hotel was flipped and upgraded poor job at that. I don't have enough space for the inconvenience for our stay. Spots on our spreads in room, brown water in toilet and tub and sink. Tv didn't work in room. Went to front desk and associate there didn't care. Just cared about cell phone just said see mgr. in the A.M. No! I wanted my room changed or refund me but not as we were...

”We loved our stay! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The amenities were wonderful, but mostly, this is a gorgeous property! For such an historic property, it is so comfortable and beautiful! We wish we could have stayed longer!”

”Ystävällinen henkilökunta. Sisäuima-allas oli kiva yllätys lapsille.”

”Stayed here many time great place great staff”

”Everything was clean, comfortable and very cozy …. Would definitely stay here again”

”Hieno hotelli ja näköala. Ruoka hyvää ja hinnoittelu maltillinen. Hotellille ajettaessa piti näyttää henkkarit, ennen kuin päästivät sisälle sotilasalueelle, jonka sisällä hotelli on.”
