”This cottage was exactly as described and has everything we needed. The kitchen is well stocked. The fire pit was great to sit and relax around after a busy day out and about. Candy and Freddie are excellent hosts--very responsive, helpful, and welcoming! Lulu, Angel, and Josie were welcoming pets! No complaints at all about our stay and we would definitely stay again when/if we are back in the area!”

”The hot tub was great!
The place needed some work.
The hot and cold faucet fell off the wall in the bathroom shower.
There was pink staining all over the floor in the kitchen.
There were holes in the doors.
There was no frying pan to make eggs for breakfast.
The host was great at communicating, but it was only through email and sometimes it was missed.”

”There are so many bits and pieces of this property that we want to keep in our memories: *Our kind and sweet hosts. They are a large Mennonite family with a working farm. *Their animals on the farm - cows, goats, dogs, cats, birds, ducks, and occassionally rabbits.*Their corn day. I invited myself to join their corn harvest and they were very welcoming. The children were so delightful and kept me companied for the entire morning. *The fresh milk, the home-made bread, the butter, and the eggs...

”This home was a great place to experience all of the things the Lancaster area has to offer. It was a clean, comfortable haven to have as home base. Would highly recommend it. We loved watching all the buggies & Amish families travel along the road out front. The front porch was a popular spot. We had a blast sitting around the fire making S’mores & “solving the problems of the world” with all the family discussions. LOL”

”The environment is really quiet, and I love the sounds of nature. Even though it rained at night, it didn't stop us from calming down - it was really soothing. One thing to note is that the bedding smelled really bad; I wonder if they could replace it with fresh ones. I'm pretty satisfied with this trip and might come back next year.”
