”The house is a block away from the beach park. There is no lake view, but there could be if they trimmed a tree and lowered the fence. The lake and beach are magnificent. Water was warm 1st week of August with tan powder sandbars all over the beach. Lots of space and not too busy. The surrounding area has much poverty, while right on the edge of the marina … food at the lakeside restaurants was just ok. No fresh catch options from the lake on any of the menus…So disappointing. The property...

”Having to navigate the stairs to the basement at our age was a little difficult and could use a kitchen sink but other than that it was fine.”

”This is a really nice place. Unfortunately we came right after the basement flooded with the crazy 1000 year storm. It was all dried out and ready for carpet to go back in. But the fans were still going and it wasn't ready yet. But i won't hold that against them. They gave me a credit and i'm sure it will be back to normal shortly. I would definitely stay again. This storm was unfortunate for the entire city and a lot of people got it worse. They did a good job drying out the basement and doesnt...

”We had a great stay. Places to eat close by. We walked to a great Italian restaurant. Our hosts communication was above and beyond. Even though it is a duplex type house, it is very quiet. No noise issues at any time. Plenty of parking and nice backyard.”
