”The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Proximity to the beach, Cambria and Hearst Castle were great. The swimming pools and fire pits were a great touch. ”

”The staff was courteous, the room was comfortable and clean, I liked the balcony and view (even if it looked inland and not seaward) and it was located close to where I wanted to be.
The restaurants in the area were a bit pricey (but good), so I appreciated the continental breakfast being substantial enough I didn't have to pay a premium someplace else in the morning. Internet wasn't great; but I don't blame them, it's a tough spot for that. I could get email, but had trouble streaming...

”We stayed here only one night during our road trip. The hotel is near the Hearst Castle visitor center and some miles away from the elephant seal vista point (which I totally recommend). Hotel has a small pool, a restaurant and a bar and there are small shops nearby. Everything you can hope for a quick or even longer stop. Rooms were clean and nice. ”
