”Location and environment great. The premises are fine, but the sounds from the inner yard can be easily heard in the rooms and some of the rooms are located so that the people passing by (outside) can see to the rooms. Additionally there was some drilling and other loud noises starting at 9 am. The staff was couple of times rude.”

”This was a last minute trip on our way to spend Thanksgiving with family. The property is a cozy older home, but clean with comfy beds, and perfect spot near Yosemite. It’s about 30 minutes to the gate and 1 hour from the Valley, but ann easy drive. Our family of 4, including 2 teenagers, loved our stay. We had plenty of room with 2 bedrooms downstairs, a huge loft space, and 2 bathrooms. Groveland is a cute town. Mar Vals was a great grocery store where we were to get everything we needed....

”Little outdated but that was ok other than lack of overhead lighting in primary bedroom. A couple of updated lights on the nightstands would make a big difference. Towels were old and one was stained, so new towels are needed as well. More blankets in downstairs bedroom would be great. The couple who stayed down there got cold during the night. Just a few simple changes would make a big difference. That being said, would definitely stay there again and had a great time. Thank you!”

”The Getaway is in a great location at Pine Mountain Lake, abutting the golf course.
