The space

This is a modern newly remodeled 900 square foot 2 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment. It has modern updated kitchen and bathroom finishings, and a small patio off of the living room.

Enjoy drinks or morning coffee on the side patio, overlooking the street with lots of green space.

Enjoy a Keurig coffee. Make breakfast with a stocked newly remodeled kitchen with new appliances. Go for a jog on the paved Greenway trail just steps from your front door, which gives you access to over 100 miles of paved trails which make a huge loop around Raleigh through a series of interconnected parks and riverside paths. Walk 6 minutes up said Greenway to get the most coveted bagels in Raleigh from Benchwarmers Bagels in the Trade Co Food Hall.

Rent an electric scooter (found parked around downtown) or a bike from the city bike share, and ride to nearby State Capitol to see the memorial statues. Get a drink from one of the many breweries nearby, including Bhavana Brewery and Trophy Brewing. Walk the cobblestones streets of Historic City Market. Walk to a show at the Duke Performing Arts Center or Red Hat Arena or the Raleigh Convention Center or Lincoln Theater, all within a 15 min walk. Or stay in and watch a movie on the Roku in the stylish living room.

Within walking distance of all downtown attractions, restaurants and bars, including State Capitol building, the convention center, Trade Co. Food Hall, Marbles Kid Museum, Lincoln Theater, Red Hat Amphitheater, and Historic City Market.

Guest/Visitor Policy:

Please make sure you are booking for the correct number of guests. Nightly rate is based on guest count, so if you need to increase your guest count after booking, the rate may increase and any price difference must be paid.

Please understand that the number of guests you booked for is the maximum number allowed to be on the property, including visitors who don't spend the night. I'm a reasonable host - I do make an exception to allow for one or two short-term visitors during your stay. You don't need to change anything or tell me if you'd like to have 1 or 2 short-term visitors (not spending the night) during your stay. This is fully allowed. But if you would like to have anymore than 2 visitors on property at any point or for additional people beyond your guest count to stay the night, you would need to ask me first and update your guest count to the correct amount. This may result in a nightly rate increase. Having additional unauthorized guests or visitors voids the rental agreement. No parties, events, or gatherings are allowed. Outdoor security cameras (can't see inside property) are used to monitor guest and pet compliance.

Pet Policy:

Pets are allowed with a $50 fee per each pet for stays of 4 nights or fewer (pet fee will be greater for stays over 4 nights so please ask before booking if you'd like to check the longer stay pet fee amount). You MUST let me know about any pets in your welcome VRBO message. *Pet fee is to be paid after booking. Pet fee is NOT included in the booking price that VRBO collects, whether or not you mark pets in the reservation.* I ask you to NOT let pets on any furniture or beds and to pick up any waste in the yard.

I want guests to be able to check-in as early as possible. Due to the large amount of linens to be laundered between guests and the short amount of time do it, the washer/dryer will often have linens in them so that another load can run after cleaner leaves. You are welcome to use the washer/dryer, but will sometimes have to take out a load in order to do so. If you specifically know you will use the washer/dryer during your stay and don't want to have to do this, please let me know prior to check-in and I'll tell my cleaner to leave them empty for you.”

While you are welcome to use washer and dryer, I do NOT provide laundry detergent.

If you have more than four guests, please note:
The space is 900 square feet, so indeed with six adults, this may feel quite cozy. Please set your expectations accordingly.

PARKING:

There is no dedicated parking spot reserved, but you may park in any open non-reserved spot in the lot. There is typically always spots available, but occasionally during very busy times, all the spots may be taken by other occupants and guests. In these rare cases, you would need to find nearby street parking or wait for someone to leave.
