Spaces:

There are 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, Laundry area, dining area, breakfast nook, living room with fireplace, arcade games, board games, a raised deck overlooking trees, and a ping pong table in the garage.



The master bedroom has the king bed, a 55” smart TV, and an en suite primary bathroom with jetted tub, separate shower, and double sink. The dedicated workspace is also located in the master bedroom. The workspace has a curved 34” monitor with HDMI and USB-C cables for connecting your laptop and wired speakers for your remote meetings, all on a height adjustable standing desk with a leather chair.



The Queen bedroom is right across the hall from the master bedroom. The guest full bathroom is at the end of the hall between the Queen and the King bedroom. Two twin beds in the Twin bedroom are perfect for guests not sharing a bed. Both the Queen and the Twin bedroom also have 55” Smart TVs. The laundry space with washer and dryer is across the hall from the Twin bedroom.



The living room has an arcade machine with 12 games, a large collection of board games, a full sized floor couch-bed, and a sectional couch in front of the 65” Smart TV above the fireplace. The full motion mount allows the TV to be clearly seen from anywhere in the living room, the dining area, as well as the kitchen.



Use the indoor dining area or the outdoor seating on the deck. For a more intimate experience, try the breakfast nook for 2. The indoor dining table and the breakfast nook table can also be used for board games.



Finally, use the 4 top-spin paddles to play 2 vs 2 ping pong using high quality balls on a tournament size and quality table. The table tennis equipment is hanging on the wall. Use the space heater to make the room warmer or the fan to make it cooler. The heater and the microwave are on the same circuit. Running both at the same time may trip the breaker. Reset the breaker #12 from the panel between the breakfast nook and the entrance. Open the garage door for more ventilation, its net screen allows fresh air in and prevents bugs from getting in.



If booking for 8 people, 7th and 8th guests would sleep on the full sized floor couch-bed that converts into a mattress in the living room. The linens and mattress protector are in the master closet. There are 2 extra deck chairs hanging in the garage and the dining table can expand to accommodate 8 seats.



All bedrooms and the entryway have WiFi Porter devices to seamlessly connect your devices to WiFi. There are 2 exterior ring cameras in the front of the house. No other cameras or recording devices anywhere else. Noise monitoring devices in the living room and the deck area ensures that neighbors are not disturbed. Please do not open any windows to prevent temperature controlled air from escaping.

Access & Parking

2-3 cars will fit on the driveway. Parallel parking on the street in the cul-de-sac is free and allowed, except Tuesday due to City Garbage Collection.



Check-in Instructions will be shared 24 hours before check-in time. The entry code will be shared at the time of check-in.

House Rules

To help us maintain our home and ensure a pleasant experience for all guests and our neighbors, please review our house rules. By confirming your booking, you agree to abide by these guidelines.



No outdoor shoes inside the house. Cozy socks with grips are on lend in the coat closet to be returned back at the end of the stay.



No parties or events: Parties, events, or large gatherings are strictly prohibited.



Max occupancy: 8 people



No unregistered guests or overnight visitors: Only registered guests may stay overnight. Day visitors must depart by 10 PM.



Quiet hours: Observe quiet hours between 10PM and 9AM. Noise monitoring devices located on the deck and in the living room, detect decibels only, and protect your privacy.



No smoking of any kind/vaping: Strictly prohibited anywhere on the property. Smoking/vaping incurs $1,000 cleaning fee.



No illegal drugs.



No personal mail/package delivery to this address. Options for nearby delivery are provided in the Physical House Manual.



No pets or animals: Our house is strictly an animal-free zone due to severe allergies persisting in the family that seriously threaten the hosts’ health.



Respect the property: Treat our home with care. Shoes off indoors: Kindly remove shoes to keep floors clean. A shoe rack and cozy socks are provided in the entry closet.



Damage reporting: Report any damage immediately. We perform extensive inspections before and after each guest. Depending on the severity of the damage, lost game pieces, or missing items, you may be charged additional fees.



Trash disposal: Various trash cans are conveniently located throughout the house. If overflowing, please remove and replace the bag with a fresh bag at the bottom of the bin. City trash cans and recycling are in the garage.



Ring Cameras: Located on the front side of the house at the door and on the left side of the garage. There are no other cameras on the property, to protect your privacy.



Kitchen: Hand wash the cutting boards and the knives in the knife-block.



Bedrooms: No food or drinks in bedrooms to prevent spills and bugs.



Bathroom: Only flush toilet papers in the toilet. Everything else in the provided trash can. No soap in the jetted bathtub: Bath salts (lavender +unscented) are provided for this tub. Using soaps/shampoos etc.. can ruin the jets, and damage the pump. Fees will be applied for improper use. With normal use, run time is typically 15-18 minutes before the jets auto-shutoff.



Board Games: After play please put away the pieces systematically for future use.



Deck area: Keep noise to a minimum. Keep the area clean. No smoking.



Parking: 2-3 spaces available on driveway. Free street parking in the cul-de-sac.



Amenities: If an amenity is within our control, ie. TVs, Jetted tub, hot water and it doesn’t work, we would offer discounts. However, for issues that are the responsibility of other entities, like Google (internet), Duke(electricity), City of Raleigh(water), Enbridge (Gas), etc., we will not offer any price adjustments.



Waste Management

A variety of waste baskets/cans are conveniently located throughout the house. Extra bags are located in the laundry area. City cans are located in the garage for disposal. City cans go out on Monday night for Tuesday pick up. So, unless you are checking in on Monday, we will move the city cans to the street on Monday no later than 7pm.





Check-out Procedures:

Check-out time: 11 AM on departure day. Some flexibility if schedule allows. Ask.



Please log out of TV Apps and turn off heaters, lights, TVs etc. Please make sure the deck umbrella is closed with the sash. Please put cozy socks and used towels in the bath tubs. Leave beds unmade, as is. Trash may be removed to the garbage cans which are in the garage. Load and run the dishwasher. Please share your experience with other guests in the Guest Book. Please check and collect all your belongings. There will be additional fee if items need to be shipped to you. Please close all the doors properly. The locks will auto-lock.
