”This was the perfect place for our surprise birthday! The cottage was perfect - from the comfortable beds to the well equiped kitchen and a bbq that gives a great sear on the steaks (Leska's is just 10 minutes away and has great steaks)! Sandy beach walkout and perfect firepit location for the evening. Rachel's communication was excellent and we will definitely be back!”

”Such an amazing time in Lagoon City and this special retreat! After having come to Lagoon City as a child it was so wonderful to bring my son and wife for their first visits. It will most definitely not be our last and hopefully will become a yearly tradition!”

”Plenty of space inside and out. Nice screened in porch to escape mosquitoes in the even. We used the tandem kayak to paddle up the river. Good sized dock and a fit pit near the beach, both with lots of seating. Peaceful location. A turtle came up and lay eggs in the beach one morning! Would visit again. ”

”What a beautiful property. 6 of us worked during the days and came back to the property for our evenings. We had great facilities to cook, clean our equipment and do laundry. Let’s not forget the fishing (not catching). We loved the place and hope the hosts have no issues having us back. Highly recommended. ”

”We had a nice time at Lagoon City, an older neighborhood where every place is on a canal (lagoon). Easy walk to a nice beach and the neighborhood was very quiet, so we could hear all of the birds in the morning. Also an easy drive to Mariposa, the festival we were going to in Orillia. Unfortunately the restaurant near the beach was closed, but we ate in when we weren’t at the festival. We did not get a chance to meet the owner, but she reached out to see if we needed anything. ”
