”We had a wonderful stay at Wentworth Cottage. The house is beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with plenty of space to relax. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped and had everything we needed. The cottage is in a peaceful location, with lovely walks directly from the property and an excellent local pub nearby where we enjoyed a very good meal. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and would happily return. Highly recommended!”

”Kitchen / diner area is a great space but the house is tired with walls missing paint, garden overgrown, most of the toilets have temperamental flushes and it doesn’t sleep ten as suggested. 9 people max which was a surprise when we arrived as a booking of ten. Owners did accommodate extra bedding when informed and the property is clean with good bedding and towels. ”

”We booked the property for our second night of 4, cycling Avon and Kennet Canal. We were hoping to arrive earlier than stated check in, to make use of fridge before we set off on our bikes for the day, Alex was extremely helpful and gracious in immediately responding to our request with a yes. Everything was ready, clean and fresh, everything as listed and set out in the welcome message. Hot tub was fantastic, great after our 36 mile ride on canal tow path. The cabin was peaceful and private and...

”A clean and spacious flat with good facilities. Nice bathroom. Comfy main bed. Tight parking space but in car park with barrier.
It was a heatwave, which couldn't be helped, and we stayed on a night with a late England football game, so it wasn't the most comfortable night's stay. The circumstances were exceptional but The flat was very close to two pubs, one that is regularly open until 2am apparently, so it was very noisy at night.”

”Sue, our hostess was very welcoming and helpful. She has great knowledge of the surrounding area as we wanted to go walking and even emailed with an extra details. The guest to guest book was good giving information on successful trips by them. The bird seed was a lovely addition and we enjoyed seeing the local ones devour the food we had put out.”

Very pleasant experience. Clean modern room and helpful staff. Cosy restaurant with good drinks. Breakfast is freshly prepared according to your choise, a bit heavy though. Rooms are located in a separate building near a big road so we heard a little bit of noise from the traffic.
