”Hotel staff was decent, bed was comfy. Had to switch rooms at 2am due to finding a cockroach, just to be switched to a less valuable room and when I opened the door to the new room there was a naked dude sleeping in bed. Got switched again to a room that didn’t have a fridge/freezer for my cold stuff, finally got upgraded to a jacuzzi room but tv did not work. Breakfast is a loaf of bread, cheap bagels and a toaster. Would not recommend this hotel.”

”We stayed there for a few days. Our first room had a broken bed, but we were relocated immediately to a new room. The breakfast was food, the room was very clean. The pillows were flatter than flat, but they worked. Seems like the walls in the bathroom might need some scrubbing and the shower bottoms must not have any support underneath because there’s a lot of creaking noises when you step in and move around. The dining space is really nice and a good variety of food. I have celiac disease...

”The “continental” breakfast amounted to 3 choices of pre-packaged donuts or pastry, a dispenser with orange juice or coffee. The coffee was good. There is NO daily maid service, in fact NO maid service AT ALL unless you request it. You get what you pay for, I suppose.”

”Good breakfast- we really enjoy our breakfast. my recognition to the lady who works in the kitchen she does excellent job- very nice person so kind person. Say HI to her in behalf me and my husband. Room was clean , beds are comfortable. Bathroom are clean- just need make sure to refill shampoo, conditioner and body wash it was not enough for our stay (3 nights). I will reserve this hotel for future visit and recomen this hotel.”

”It's a budget hotel, so I know what to expect, and I was very happy with my stay. There were no bugs, the bed was comfy, the walls were not thin, and the water was surprisingly hot for a hotel, so all those things were great to me! It was a little dirty, but the rooms seemed recently renovated, so I was happy with it. There was no real breakfast, but I had already accounted for that and appreciated the hot coffee each morning. Keep in mind that it does have smoking rooms, and the first floor...

”I was in Hastings to participate in the Run for the Roses 5k and my wife and I stayed at the Confluence. It was all that I had hoped it would be when I booked my stay. The hotel itself was amazing, situated right on the banks of the Mississippi River. The room was fantastic as was the staff. It's close to parks, restaurants and bars all within a few minutes walk. Will DEFINITELY book this hotel when we're in Hastings again”

”Working in the hospitality industry I notice a lot. The lady that checked me in was very nice and helpful. I got to the room and it was not very clean. The whirlpool appeared broken and it was very dark in that corner. The bed was gross. The top sheet had stains on it, the sheets were so thin in spots you could see thru them and they didn’t fit on the bed. I had to sleep on my own blanket. The bathtub was slimy I had to clean it before I used it. This property is in need of a serious facelift.”

”Really basic hotel. Clean shower, bed was nice. The receptionist didn't even bother to greet us upon arrival. They must not get a lot of international guests as they kept on asking for local phone number and address. At the time of departure, they were only concerned about the shuttle bus, no questions on our stay. The woman maintaining the breakfast area was really nice. Shuttle bus to the airport was a good bonus. ”
