Klaran huvila UUSI ylellinen yksityinen talo kauniilla maatilalla Etelä-Islannissa

Meidän tilalla meillä on tämä UUSI ylellinen yksityinen talo. Se on mukava 4-6 vieraille, sopii erinomaisesti perheille ja ystäville. Sinulla on koko talo itsellesi. Se on hyvä tukikohta, jos aiot tutustua Etelä-Islantiin. Kaksi makuuhuonetta, joissa molemmissa on kaksi erillistä vuodetta ja mukava nukkuva sohva.

Vieraat ovat tervetulleita kävelemään maatilalla ja kiittämään eläimemme. Meillä on hevosia, lampaita, kanoja, kissaa ja ystävällinen koira. Elämme eläimet kahdesti päivässä (lokakuu-toukokuu) aamulla noin kello 9 ja iltapäivällä noin kello 19.00. Jos olet kiinnostunut, olet tervetullut liittymään meihin! Elämme maatilassa, joten olemme usein kotona ja voimme auttaa sinua tarvittaessa. Toukokuussa saamme noin 30 karitsaa ja kesäkuussa Mare ratsastaa varsa :)

Talvella (syyskuu-maaliskuussa) meillä on usein pohjoisia valoja, jotka tanssivat meitä, kun olemme poissa kaupungin valonsäteilystä. Optimaaliset olosuhteet pohjoisten valojen osalta Islannissa ovat seuraavat: Talvikausi Pimeys Kirkkaat taivas Still Sää Ilman pilaantumisen puutetta Oikea aurinkotuuli

Olemme 10 minuutin ajomatkan päässä Hellasta (reitillä yksi) tai 20 min ajomatkan päässä Selfoss-kaupungista. Jos olet ajaa lännestä (Reykjavik) Hellassa ja Selfossissa löydät ravintoloita, uima-kyselyjä, kauppoja jne. Landvegamót (huoltoasema, myymälä) on vain 3 minuutin ajomatkan päässä, ja te olette kääntäneet reitittimen päästämme maatilallemme.

Hestheimar (Ratsastus) on 3 min ajomatkan. Golden Circle ja Landmannalaugar 1,5 tunnin ajomatkan päässä. Seljalandsfoss 30 min ajomatka. Hekla Volcano 1 tunnin ajomatka. Skógafoss 45 min ajomatka. Vík 1 tunnin ajomatkan päässä. Selfoss 25 min ajomatka.

We loved this place! We were close to the golden circle and then had an easy drive to the south east coast. The house was great and had everything we needed. They even had a kitten on the property that would come visit us! The owners were very friendly and helpful. We had a great time!

3 day stopover in Iceland

We had a quick 3 day stopover on our way back to America and was looking for a good mid point VRBO and klara’s was perfect. From the pictures the place looked great and when we arrived it was better than we could have expected. Very clean, super comfortable and the location turned out to be perfect. Highly recommend. Klara and Harold are very welcoming. We enjoyed are stay. They have a beautiful farm. We were able to see sights on the Golden Circle, go to Hvolsvollur, and Seljalandsfoss from this location. We also visited the animals on the farm.

Lovely home on farm near Hella

We really loved our stay here. The home is as described in the listing, is clean and has all the amenities including a washer and dryer. Staying on a farm was a nice change of pace on our trip - we enjoyed seeing the horses in the pasture next door. Before we left we lucked out and happened upon one of the owners who gave us a tour of the barn and animals there. Would absolutely stay again.

Beautiful location and farm friendly

We loved our stay here with the big bright windows and large dining table for everyone to gather around! It was a great location to take off from to see a number of the sights around the Golden Circle. Our grandson really enjoyed toddling around the farm and we all really loved visiting the beautiful Icelandic horses!

Perfect spot

We stayed at Klara’s Villa for the second half of our Iceland trip. It’s a perfect spot to enjoy the Golden Circle, Reykjanes peninsula and the south coast. The home is on a farm in the country with little lighting so beautiful for night sky viewing. The small town of Hella has a cafe,grocery,gas station and a few small restaurants. We comfortably fit myself,my husband and our three kids 6,9,13. The beds were comfortable and we stayed warm during our snowy trip. The kitchen has all the essentials to cook your own meals. Everything was very clean and they are careful to have everyone remove shoes before entering in the event of pet allergies. The host was wonderful and introduced our children to the horses, sheep, chickens, cats and dog. The kids enjoyed helping feed the animals in the morning before we headed out on our adventures. We would 100% stay at Klara’s farm again.

Clean, easy to get to and comfy beds

This place was great. Quiet. Clean. Easy to use lights, fridge, etc. Dark at night. Great host checked in with us. Dog and cat went on a walk with us, but only were pet when we wanted to. Remember to bring a flat sheet if you are used to that. We’d stay again!

Amazing farm house in Southern Iceland

A very fun stay in Southern Iceland! The house was meticulously clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Our kids loved meeting the farm animals, especially their cats and horses. We had a wonderful stay at Klara's house.

This is a must stay!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Klara's farm! The accommodations were perfect! We got to pet horses, dogs, cats, hold kittens and bottle feed baby sheep! The accommodations are clean and comfortable and extremely well stocked. We hope to return!

Best part of Iceland!

My kids keep saying their favorite part of Iceland was "owning a farm" - aka staying on Klara's farm! The guest house was perfectly set up for our family of 6, the hosts were incredibly friendly and offered to let my kids help with the animals (which they clearly LOVED - they even got to bottle feed a lamb!), and the location was perfect for our plan to explore both the city and the southern part of Iceland all the way over to Diamond Beach (cannot recommend highly enough!). Highly recommend and we're already dreaming of coming back!

Excellent location, beautiful place!

This spot was perfect for our day trips, right in the middle of Hella and Selfoss we had plenty of spots to hop in for dinner when we were too tired from hiking and sightseeing to cook. This location was very well appointed and just the right side for our family tour! The weather wasn't cooperating for our little toddler to see the new lambs and horses but he had a blast puddle jumping! Thank you so much for the perfect spot and such a nice place!

Fabulous stay. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. The cottage was very clean and well organised. All we needed, for our 4 night stay, was there, which made it very easy for us to enjoy. Importantly, it was also very comfortable and easy access to the main road.

Northern lights magic

Klara’s cottage was impeccably clean and tidy. I loved that the animals were so friendly (outside!) and that Klara knocked to let us know that the Northern lights were very active! We had a little trouble with Apple Maps finding the location but after a little bit more review of the listing and the use of google maps, we arrived safe and sound!
