âOld, worn down hotel with very uninspired people. The first room I was given was terrible quality and so loud with street noise it was impossible to sleep. I was forced to pay for an upgrade to a "club" floor, which is basically the same room but comes with free soda, as it was the only room available that wasn't facing the street. IMO I should not have been charged for that.
Overall this is a 2-star hotel and I would avoid it if you can find any other options. It's about a 30min walk to...

âLarge rooms, very clean and great staff. My only knock on this stay was the additional $50 per night on top resort fee for security. Saisld it was a hold only, but actually charged my card, now I have persue getting this charge refunded 5-7 business days later. So I give only 4 stars because of this inconvenience â
âSehr freundliches Personal, saubere Unterkunft, Doppelzimmer unterm Dach mit Leiter zum Bett evtl. nicht fĂŒr jeden geeignet. Man sollte wissen, dass es keinen Aufzug gibt. Tolle gastronomische Angebote direkt in der NĂ€he. Gut mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichbar.â
âPerfect location for our trip!! Close to our Sons apartment and the venue we were going to!! The safe carded parking was awesome. Beds were so comfortable!!! â

Overall this is a 2-star hotel and I would avoid it if you can find any other options. It's about a 30min walk to Georgetown, decently safe although some shady people in the streets nearby. If you're considering taking this as a base to explore Georgetown, I'd recommend you to think again.

"Positive things first: location is great (near metro and whole foods, walking distance to Georgetown, DuPont circle etc.), the room was big and had a real kitchen. Some of the staff members were super nice and helpful and some were not. But the room was not only really outdated but partially almost falling apart. And the cleaning was also so and so or then the room was just so worn-out that it just looked dirty no matter how much cleaning was done. Not going back before major renovations. "
