”Nice accommodations. The location is very convenient to town; however there are some hills involved if you’re walking. Parking in town was easy and available. ”

”The house was absolutely amazing and exceeded expectations. We were able to stay and not have to worry about a single thing - linens and towels provided. Coffee and tea was made available, as well. The owner left notes on each floor as a guide - very helpful! I initially had trouble booking through Vrbo - but the owner was very helpful and prompt in reaching out! Definitely a wonderful spot to stay, right in downtown Sharpsburg - would highly recommend! ”

”Incredibly charming home in the perfect location. Me, my husband, and small dog spent hours on the deck, people watching, admiring the butterflies and the scenery, and drinking local wine from the cute store across the street. Just a minute's walk to restaurants and a cafe, with an amazing ice cream shop down the steps. The house was clean and the beds were super comfortable. Highly recommend. ”

”We had such a wonderful time at this gorgeous house! It was clean, comfortable, spacious and very relaxing. Our group had kids and adults of all ages and everyone had a fantastic time. The brewery next door is an added bonus, and we didn’t have any issues with noise or crowds. We will definitely stay here again.”

”We absolutely loved all the antiques displayed. My friend and I were in our glory looking through the house and all of the antiques. It was a step back in time. We would recommend some nice rockers or good seating for the front porch. We wanted to sit outside and relax when we got there, but it wasn’t really set up on the porch with comfy seating for 4. ”

”No need to look any further! Beautiful, clean,historic home in a perfect location. Close to wineries, breweries, Shenandoah River, hiking and only 45 minutes from DC. The host was very accommodating and friendly as well. We would highly recommend this home for you and your family. ”

”It was a great stay. No complaints! Great communication with the hosts before and during our stay. Very clean and just like the photos. The only comments not entirely positive (but worth noting because it was one of my deciding factors in booking this property) is that the hot tub was not clean enough for us to be comfortable using (it is in the woods and may have been pollen coming through the screens—but it was covered) and I think one of the queen sized mattresses does need to be replaced in...

”The outdoor spaces exceeded my expectations of the property. There is ample space on the deck, the yard is enjoable with the views and firepit, and the front porch rocking chairs are relaxing with a cup of coffee and litening to the gentle rain.Young adults enjoyed the game room. My only suggestion would be to replace mattress in 1st floor bedroom, it sinks a little. That is a small inconvenience considering that everything else was lively and the kitchen was well supplied with cooking tools.”

”Comfortable and right at the C&O trail, so easy to take lovely walks. The house is clean, the kitchen and dining spaces more than adequate, multiple common areas are nice, as are bedrooms. Minor issue in that it seems the visitors before us made the remote for the downstairs tv disappear. Connection via phone, text etc can be spotty unless you're on the houses wifi, which worked well.”
