Very reasonably priced.
This motel is very well kept up on outside, but a little dated inside. It’s very clean but totally an up north cabin vibe. It’s quiet in terms of not hearing your next door neighbor but you are right off a busy highway so you hear traffic if that bothers you. We had the family unit so basically it was two adjoining rooms with one side having a double bed with the kitchen and the other room having 2 double beds and the bathroom. The bathroom is small - think cruise ship shower size, but a nice shower head flow. Each room had their own tv which was a nice perk. We were traveling with dogs and very much appreciated a great deal for the one night stay.

Cute older style rooms that were very clean. Comfortable beds but smaller rooms. Very nice staff with easy check in and check out.

The room was fantastic! Small little motel but the room was clean and fresh smelling. The room looked modern and had everything I needed for my stay.

Throw back to a kinder times
It was a quaint little stay . Room was a bit tiny but comfortable. If you are bothered by the road noise, not the place for you, I had no issue with as I am use to sleeping close to RR tracks. No breakfast but plenty of nearby places in Escanaba.

Clean, cute and comfortable rooms. Liked the idea of access to trails but we just stopped in for a night, and a late arrival at that. They were great at providing late checkin options, are right on US2 and were very friendly. Will stay again when travelling the UP, best hotel experience in the region for me.

There was not a hair dryer in room. Had to go to office to get it. They did not have any ice. Said ice machine was too expensive right now. Room was very small. Beds were ok. The new bathroom was nice but small shower (semi-round corner shower) with hardly any water pressure. Room was clean.

Hi valarie, not sure why you had shower pressure issues, it seems very strong upon checking. Hair dryers are very unfrequently used so they are avail upon request. As a small family owned business we simply are not set up for the type of "ice machine" your used to. We also list that ice is not on site prior to bookings.

Great for a quick night. Quite night and nice staff. Would stay again. Don't follow your car gps unless it's google based. My Toyota missed the place by 5 miles and directed us to an empty lot!

We had the family suite. It was very clean and cozy. My son appreciated the door in between rooms for privacy. I enjoyed the name brand k-cups. That was a pleasant surprise.

One of the best stays of our week in the UP. This is a quaint little motel that is well taken care of provided a great night's sleep for my family. Tough to beat the price. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Safe, quiet, and clean. I was extremely impressed with the care that was taken to ensure my room gave me a comfortable stay. From the normal amenities like the fridge, microwave, and coffee machine to the smaller details like the chairs outside the room and the tiny plants, it was clear that the owner wanted guests to feel safe and at home and that goal was achieved. Highly recommend.

Rooms were clean and good for price. However we had two rooms and the bathrooms were completely different in each room. One was very tiny with no counter space so a larger person would definitely have a problem in that room.. The other was much larger and nicer.

The recent room remodel was very well done. This is a perfect “motel” with very reasonable rates, even on the weekend. You will rest and smile! Eat at Rosy’s Diner in Escanaba if going west. Try the cudighi skillet.

We were traveling between Minnesota and the Lower Peninsula and just needed a place to sleep. The motel was a through-back to earlier times along Highway 2, but it had recently been remodeled, was clean, and although we were next to Hwy 2, it was quiet during the night. I would stay here again.
