”Our room had a moldy, musty smell....Our sinuses were a mess by morning and we barely got any sleep. The air conditioning didn't work very well and the fridge didn't either. The bathroom counter was all chipped up and the furniture in our suite was dirty and worn.”

”Staff most unfriendly”

”Very comfortable stay and you can’t beat the area for good dinner spots and a walk on the river front. The hot tub was wonderful and the coffee shop in the hotel. Very quality stay.”

”I forgot to tell them our room had no water pressure. It was literally a tiny sprinkler coming out. I almost took the shower head off myself and tried to clean it out but I didn’t have time. It was clean, but looks like it’s being renovated. It could definitely be a little better. It was a cheap stay but you definitely saw the rust on the bathroom doors, the over flow sink would go all over the toilet paper, some of the lights didn’t work. But it wasn’t a terrible stay. ”Peaceful and clean”

”One of the nicest places I've ever stayed, honestly and it was a privilege to stay there. It's also run by very nice people who were very kind and a big help to me, too. I'm not likely to forget them. It's a fairly convenient location, has a nice shuttle into Iowa City and medical areas (the driver was super nice too), they have a simply wonderful breakfast and from M-Fri (I think, please check that I'm right), they also offer a delicious dinner too. ”So the bed was clean, every thing else was used up and stained. Makeup smudges on the hairdryer, which made me wonder about other surfaces. Room smelled like someone had cooked something fragrant in there, could only open the window 6” to try and air it out. Fine for a quick stay, it was quiet and well priced, perfectly mediocre.”

”The hot tub falsely advertised on the listing was not available. The place was quite unkempt, but nothing bothered me more than the staff. If you are a person of color, DO NOT BOOK this hotel.”

Advised front desk who spoke to them and noise/shouting started again a few minutes later. Advised front desk again but nothing changed. Complained again with same level of disruption at 5am. 7-8 people in next room, loud music, banging in walls, shouting, partying in the hallway.
