Viskovici is a small village in the municipality of Rasa in the south-eastern part of Istria. This is an area of beautiful and peaceful natural scenery, with many coves, beaches and hills. About 15 to 20 kilometres from the villa lie the towns of Labin and Rabac, two neighbouring towns – one is a coastal town and the other is situated a few kilometres inland in Istria. The town of Labin is a perfect destination for art and history enthusiasts, whilst the other town is renowned for its beautiful beaches and excellent cuisine. If you’d like to explore the wider Istrian region, you can plan day trips by car to Pula and Rovinj, two ancient Roman towns on the coast. Both are about an hour’s drive away, and you can spend a whole day exploring each one, as they are full of famous historical sights, such as the Arena in Pula or the Church of St Euphemia in Rovinj.
