I’ll first start by saying my bad experience’s first. To get to the hotel was a hassle, because the address listed on Expedia is not the correct address of the hotel therefore we were left stranded in front of someone’s house. We did have to contact the hotel and they were able to speak to the driver to let them know the exact address.
Another bad experience we had was during checkout. We had booked a tour for the last morning in the hotel before checking out. We spoke to them the day before letting them know we would like to do a late checkout if possible, but they informed us that they were not able to accommodate but it was ok with us. The problem was the hotel provides beach towels, beach bag, and sandals for you to use during your stay and we were hoping to use all three things that morning during the tour. Please keep in mind that we were going to be dropped off at 12 PM and check out was at 12 PM. They first told us
no and when we went to pick up our breakfast in the morning, then they said that they would allow it, but we basically had to beg to be able to use the items and I had to explain how if they had the deposit why wouldn’t we be able to use those items still. it felt like they were just not willing to help.
To end on a good note, I ended up losing my prescription glasses cause I left them at the pool and someone took them. The staff went above and beyond by looking at the cameras and finding the person and going to their room to get my glasses back.
