”I booked the Spruce Room, which has extremely dated pictures online. There have been years of use when you actually view the place. The kitchen has stains and marked up tiles, bathroom is barely clean with black mold in the back of toilet. All 4 of our beds had dirty linens and since there is no on-site manager, they had us raid the emergency shed and hopefully retrieve extra sheets. These sheets were all unusable. They reeked of mildew. Our family had nowhere to sleep that night, so we had to...

Breakfast was ok. Since we had been on the road for almost two weeks prior to our arrival, Al insisted we use his washing machine to wash our clothes! Had a good time spending one evening at the pool and around the campfire getting to know people. Would recommend this place to anyone that's ever going that way! Good...

”We loved our stay at this hotel. It is in a perfect location for winter and sunmer adventures, and not far from Lake Placid shops and restaurants. We enjoyed the comfortable room and sauna after a long day on the mountain, and the stocked kitchen made it easy and efficient to fuel up in the mornings. We will definitely return here again when we plan our next Adirondack adventure!”
