”The room was really clean and modern. Great Smart TV with all the Apps like Netflix, YouTube etc Had a good little fridge and a microwave (I was surprised how many didn’t) . Really big shower with great pressure, so I felt washed ! Close to the Taree Service Centre as in 5 min drive. Beautiful rural setting, so quiet. This place was a real gem really close to the M1. I found myself another great motel between Sydney and Brisbane, well worth the stop.”

”The couple running the place were helpful with any requests such as towels etc. The room itself is very small with an air conditioning unit that is set to arctic with no ability to change the temperature, the shower has no closure so the small bathroom is wet and the floor gets dirty very easily with no way to clean it (possibly may have been dirty to start with) Location is great, right next to the main street”

Blackhead Beach at Hallidays Point. Slightly off the tourist track is this nestled piece of paradise. Pristine sandy beach which is easy to walk along, collect shells, walk to the volcanic rock formations which jut out to the left, and the sandstone rocks. Head right and you will discover rock pools with oceans living creatures waiting till the next high tide. See if you can spot an octopus or a Port Douglas Shark even star fish. 2 ocean pools which are cleaned regularly caters for Adults and children. A great surf beach.
