4. Little Deuce Coupe Cabin

Red River

”Overall, the property is pretty accurately described online. One of the difficulties we had was that upon arrival the cabin had been closed up for at least an overnight and was extremely warm. It does not cool off very quickly because the only windows that open are all on the same side of the house, so it’s not possible to get any kind of a breeze or draft. The bed is comfortable. The shower is nice. The dining area leaves something to be desired. There’s no drawer space for clothes. The cabin is...

5. Maverick Retreat in Red River

Red River

”Upon arrival the house was very clean for an older house. The parking was tight but easy pulling in, you have to be careful backing out but that was mainly because the house right beside us had construction going on. The front yard was the driveway with gravel. The porch was amazing. Comfortable chairs a grill nice lighting. The house next door is close but privacy fence helps on ground level. The backyard is basically nonexistent. It’s steep, I mean steep! It was unkept and the privacy fence...

Red River

”We had a wonderful trip to Red River! The Mountain Memories house was absolutely perfect. We had 9 people staying at the house (5 adults and 4 kids). The house had more than enough room for everyone. The kitchen has anything you could possibly need!! The downstairs bedroom (bunk room) doesn't maintain the temperature very well. The big windows make it warm during the day and then really cold at night. However, the room had a box fan (as did each room in the house) and it also had a little...

”Great place to stay for 3 families. 10 people total. Lots of space and a nice deck to sit around on. Short drive into town. Needs a bigger coffee maker. Even says on it great for apartments and dorm rooms. Def not for a place that sleeps 14. Also had to go into town to check in. Felt like the code could have been shared through the app but wasn’t a huge deal. In the end, would stay here again.”

”Overall we had a very pleasant experience. The location is wonderful. It's just a little ways out of town, which made it peaceful and quiet, and the views were absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely consider staying again. There were a couple of things worth mentioning for future guests and the owners. The house is smaller than what we anticipated but luckily we are a close family and really didn't have any problems. Masterbath is really small. This might be an...

”This is a beautiful log home and had all the room our large family required. The home was clean and had plenty of towels for showering and for use with the delightful hot tub. We enjoyed all of the outdoor deck space and the use of the Blackstone grill. We have just two complaints. 1.Electrical in the house was not reliable in some places. One outlet in the downstairs bedroom worked very spotty, but most of the time it did not work. Also the ceiling fan in that room only worked part of the time....
