Favorite Eagle Crest Condo

We had another wonderful stay at this beautiful townhouse! The decor is stylish and welcoming, and the home was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The upstairs bedrooms did get a bit warm at night, even with the thermostat set to low, but it didn’t take away from our overall experience. We’re already looking forward to reserving this amazing condo for our next visit to Eagle Crest!

Vacasa’s cleaning standards are awful.

In early booking, we requested early check in, if possible. I was told it would be considered and that we would receive a message about it the morning of our reservation if allowed. This makes it difficult for people traveling any great distance to plan their travel, but okay, I get it. We arrived about 35 mins prior to check in time of 4pm. I messaged again to see if we could get in early as no one was around (ie, cleaning crew) and was giving a very confusing response but ultimately told no. We sat in the car and waited, and got in at our original check in time. Upon entry, we toured the home, opened up the blinds and unpacked our car. As we settled in, each guest (5 adults) commented on how dirty the house was. The bedding had not been changed from prior guests, as we found crumbs and hair on the pillow cases and in the sheets. The bathrooms were less than desirable, with half used toiletries in the shower stall, trash cans hadn’t been emptied, the floors were dusty and hair covered, among other cleanliness issues, to top it all off, we found someone’s soiled underwear in the restroom upstairs. Vacasa was made aware of this and the response I received was that they were working with local staff to improve the experience. No offer to send someone out, no offer of a cleaning deposit refund, nothing. Grossly disappointed in Vacasa. This is no fault of the home or owners, this lies with the management company. Avoid Vacasa at Eagle Crest if you expect cleanliness.

Beautiful home in Eagle Crest near Redmond

This is a wonderful home in the beautiful Eagle Crest development near Redmond.The decor in the home is perfect for the Deschutes area. Everything was spacious, and the back yard was an open area. The property manager responded quickly via text whenever I had any questions. I highly recommend this home for a getaway.

Maintained well super clean and lots of space

My family and I loved this property! Super fun stay for the 4th of July weekend. when we got here there were staff still inside the home-but that was the only inconvenience, overall we would love to come back :)

Nice Stay, Good Location, Cleanliness Questionable

Overall, the condo was comfortable, nicely furnished, and in a quiet area. There is sufficient privacy from the downstairs master suite and the two bedrooms/bath on the second floor so that one never feels crowded. The place is light and airy with a lovely deck off of the living space. If one is looking for a maneuverable, gourmet kitchen, this kitchen is less than ideal. The kitchen layout is tight - think tight, like a small square tight - whereby it is challenging to have two individuals in the kitchen at the same time. When the dishwasher door is open, it is near impossible to reach cupboards on that side of the kitchen. When the fridge door is open, no one can walk into or out of the kitchen. These are minor issues, really; but worth being aware of if you plan on having a large group wanting to cook extensively. Worth being aware of. Cleanliness is where the property failed. I am being generous with a two star rating. There is a difference between tidy and clean. The condo was tidy. Examples include: *when flipping the top over on the game table top in the living room, there were crumbs, pieces of food, and dirt underneath. * the kitchen drawers and cupboards had quite a bit of leftovers in them. Yes, that happens in a kitchen; but, it seems none of the cabinets or drawers have had even a cursory cleaning in some time. * in the larger bedroom on the second floor, I could literally write my name in the layer of dust that was across the headboard. The clock on the side table was just as dusty. * in the same bedroom, there was an interesting white splotch on the head board and also on the side of the bedside table. I dare not fathom what that was * the refrigerator was empty upon arrival; but there was certainly plenty of leftovers in the form of crumbs, pieces of food, stains etc in the fridge drawers and on the shelves * and, likely the worst discovery, was found when opening the closet in the master bedroom to find bedsheets, blankets, mattress pad, and pillows on the closet floor or clumped in various states of disarray on closet shelves. The linens were in such a state of chaos that my immediate thought was that the linens were dirty and had not been washed/removed from the previous guest's stay. During a pandemic, when many rental units have committed to more stringent cleaning, I was extremely disappointed. I do have pictures of many of the items described above. I highly recommend a deep cleaning and a new cleaning service.
