”Upon arrival the front desk staff was prompt, professional and helpful. Very easy check in process. Got to my room and the musty smell while I opened the door was quite strong. Smells like carpet that needs a desperate cleaning. The room was clean, other than stains and wear marks on the chair and ottoman(so bad I wouldn’t even set anything on it). ”Hotel is brand new, one of the cleanest we’ve stayed on our road trips. Firts we got a room that was not yet ready, staff was a bit confused but it all worked out. Everyone very nice and I think the main thing you need to know is that it is clean clean clean! Breakfast was a bonus, basic but better than most. We just wished that eggs did not have meat in them, that was minus. There was fruit and pancakes etc. and that was great. Would stay again. Castle next door is sure a sight to see even thou...
