”Comfortable and cozy living area and very spacious bedrooms, this cottage is an amazing getaway. The large pond at the edge of the garden, with lots of fish was a winner for our two boys aged 8 and 9.
We saw a kingfisher and quite a few amazing birds casually dropping by.
The welcome biscuits where a definate treat and we will be returning. ”

”This cottage was the absolute perfect get-away for a long weekend with family and friends. The house is stocked with everything you could ever need to enjoy your stay (blankets and pillows for comfort, oil, salt, pepper, coffee, pots and pans etc. in the kitchen). The delicious wine left by the owners was much appreciated. The location is perfect for walking into town on pedestrian only country paths making ti safe for kids and dogs. ”The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again. The restaurant had a lot of dogs, which isn’t too good in a restaurant. The breakfast cup was very stained, so I had to get it swapped, but the food was very nice, with a lot of choice. Staff were very friendly, and we had a good laugh with them. ”

”Rooms were comfortable, pretty and had everything we needed. We had lots of options for breakfast and it was delicious. The hosts are welcoming and the village is so pretty. We loved our stay here.”

”Excellent village pub with great staff and atmosphere that matches its surroundings and in keeping with good old inn values. The chef provides a great variety of flavors and quality dishes all served hot and on hot plates.
The stairs are somewhat challenging for the elderly and mobility impaired. I didn’t realize when booking that I could have requested a ground floor room. My bad - should have read the small print. Would definitely stay again if in the area.”
