”Fantastic motel, easy parking, quick check in and short walk to great fish and chip shop. Even though they were super busy the rooms are super quiet and spacious with no outside noise heard. Well set out with air fryer, fry pan and microwave so you reheat and eat in your room. ”

”Good: I had a late check-in which the staff arranged for me to access the hotel no problem, thanks. The view from my room (level 12) was great. Not so good: loud whistle/trilling noise that was not repaired. Cockroaches in bathroom. Effort getting the bathroom door to stay closed. Lack of interest in my issues.”

”This was our 2nd stay here and always enjoy our time here. The room was a good size and love the big shower.”

”The room was satisfactory but if I had one issue, it was the lack of a overhead fan for the bathroom. Plus the grouting in the bath area needed fixing. The location was excellent with the Seaview Hotel meals, just down the road, outstanding and good value. The other excellent factor was the availability of car parks on-site with access controlled via a security gate. All the staff, from the front desk to the cleaners and handy men, were all exceptionally friendly and helpful.”

”The pictures on the site are misleading. There are probably some units that are More updated than others. I got one that definitely did not match the pictures with very old fashioned. It is partially remodeled but the remodelling has been done hastily and with a very low budget. Old fixtures have been painted over. The lighting is horrible, like in a hospital. On the plus side, perfect location and convenient parking. Also it was clean. It’s passable for a one night stay”

Our room had a kitchenette with utencils, microwave, fridge, dishwasher etc. and there was a laundry machine and a dryer. The Oaks M is located behind the Metropolitan hotel, and is not easy to see from the street. It even features a (fairly typical) gym, which has dumbbells up to 20 kg, though.
