”Great staff, gave me free upgrade to tower view room. Great location. Buffet is great. Complimentary fresh fruit water and lemon water tastes fresh. Little blueberry muffins are sweet. Everything is great. Will definitely come back.”

”Unique, modern-historic, safe, convenient, and well-appointed inn. I’ve stayed here in two separate occasions and can’t wait for my next trip. My son plays lax at Cortland and this is my go-to accommodation. Staying at Argos makes the 30 minute drive to Cortland worth it. Lastly, there are several places to sit, read a book, play a game, or sip a craft cocktail right on site. Lovely!”

”As always, enjoyed our stay here. There was some trouble with the lighting in the bathroom after some repairs, and we were offered a different room, but decided to stay in the room we had selected. As usual, breakfasts were delicious, and the desserts were wonderful . It is always a pleasure to stay here, and the location is perfect for forays into downtown.”

”The hotel property itself was very clean including common areas and the room itself. Staff was incredibly helpful, our entire stay was top notch. We did not have the opportunity to sit by the bar or sit for breakfast but there were many guests that seemed to enjoy it. The breakfast aroma was wonderful! Will definitely stay here again as it’s also so close to the Cornell campus and very walkable.”

”Staff yelled at me for using a coffee mug at breakfast instead of. Plastic when they had coffee mugs right there. We only had two towels and 1/2 roll tp on day 1. I called to ask for towel and tp she said you can come down and get them!!!! Wow. ”

”The property was very cool- vintage motel with great special touches ( smores packs on the room). The room was very nice and clean - retro feel with great big windows. The only complaint was the snippiness of the staff regarding check in and check out. I also had asked to drop my bag in the room an hour early and was told only if I paid the early checkin fee of 50 dollars. That seemed steep since I was just dropping a bag and checking where they were located since I was traveling alone and not...

”Perfect stay”

”The only thing in the lobby was water. In the past there has been coffee or tea and even hot cider (packet). There was nno cocoa in the room (as in the past) and even though it was early May, the weather was chilly.”

This time there were a number of issues: no safe in the room, driveway and parking lot were basically rubble, uneven tile on the bathroom floor that we tripped on numerous times, shower curtain would not close, they only cleaned the room every three days, and we asked for sheets for the hide-away bed and they had stains on them,”
