”Absolutely the best place we’ve ever stayed! Hated to leave after just spending 2 nights, but had to head home. Paradise in the most beautiful woodsy surroundings with stone walls, little waterfalls & pretty flowers & trees everywhere — we wished we lived there! Pristine lodge, comfy bed & pillows, large room with everything we could’ve possibly needed, & welcoming owners. Conveniently close to great restaurants, gas, bakery & downtown — gem of a place!”

”The room was basically clean. Sheets appeared to be clean. The bathroom vents need to be cleaned, very full of dirt, so the vent didn’t really work. We didn’t see any staff except at checking and he was friendly. It’s a basic hotel at an inexpensive cost. A quick overnight stay is fine but not really where I would stay for an extended period. ”I want to say the staff at Douglas Inn and Suites was amazing. We accidentally left a full duffle bag with shoes a phone clothes and money in it. We didnt realize til we got home to Michigan. ”Upon arrival the room smelled terrible. It was hot and dingy. When we turned the air conditioner on a horrible smelled came out and continued to squeak nonstop. The windows were absolutely filthy and the view they claim was a freeway. We were in the room 15 minutes and in that time some random person attempted to come in our room. We left and didn't end up staying. ”
