”This was the 2nd time we tried staying at the Nugget. After the terrible experience we had the week earlier, we thought we would give it one more chance. The power was out when we arrived. The staff was checking people in manually by writing down information on paper. When the power came back on, the elevators were kind of working. It took 5 tries to get the elevator to stop on our floor. After about an hour, the power went off again. The room became hot pretty quickly. Not able to open...

”The Hotel, Restaurant, Bar and other amenities were great. However, the very best part was the staff, who were ALL exceptional-plus!! It was truly remarkable how genuinely friendly and helpful the staff members were. We even found the exceptionally friendly service in many of the other venues that we visited nearby. A fabulous few days in North Lake Tahoe that we plan to experience again.”

”It was ok. Thought we’d have a better experience for the price. Espresso maker in the room and our phone didn’t work. Evening staff was not the most helpful or pleasant.
Surrounding area is beautiful though. It’s a wonderful spot to walk through and the scenery is why it costs what it does.”

”Room was beautiful. Dining was awful. Bland food and terrible service. Front desk was not knowledgeable about things to do in the area. Went on the onsite hike and trail was not well marked. Off duty employees said they hadn’t gotten around to the t yet. Very underwhelmed by the resort”
