”Was there for a quick weekend trip in the area. The host was friendly, the location was quiet, and the lake is beautiful. The host offers use of a Sauna if requested. The location is right next to an ATV/Snowmobile trail if this is something you are looking to do. The host lives on the property, but you likely will not notice them as they keep to themselves. ”The 5 mile drive on a bumpy 2-track is well worth it when you reach the lodge and cabin on 160 acres with it's own private lake. We very comfortably slept over 20 men in the ample sleeping quarters. But the real gem is the huge gathering space in the main lodge. Beautiful views of the lake out one side and a kitchen/bar area on the other. A great place to congregate.”

”My husband, our 2 children and myself stayed at the property as part of our spring break. This place is awesome! This has got to be the most luxurious cabin we have ever stayed in. The pool/hot tub area was wonderfully maintained and the pool was warm upon our arrival. Plenty of firewood was provided and we used the indoor fireplace daily. ”Nicely renovated, very clean and quiet. Enjoyed eating in nearby Marquette eateries Lagniappe's, Steinhaus & Sol Azteca. Steinhaus was pricey but you will not be disappointed. This was our first visit to the Upper Peninsula and the waterfalls were beautiful. We covered a lot of ground between the Porkies and Tahquamenon State Park.”

”Great place to stay. The house was very clean, beds were comfy, and the game room in the basement was a great way to end our day. We had our dog with us and was nice to be able to walk her on the properties trails. Would definitely recommend this location as well as return for a future visit.”

”We rented this cabin for our anniversary to relax and unwind. It was perfect. Very well appointed and had everything we might need. The view of the Michigamme River was just beautiful. It was cold and rainy on and off during our stay so we couldn’t enjoy sitting out on the deck or having a fire but we’re already looking at coming back next year during the warmer months. Even so, the large window at the front of the cabin allowed us to feel almost outside without being out in the cold and rain....

”Heather is a fabulous, responsive host and the location could not have been better for our stay during the Marji Gesick. The house is cozy, clean, and comfortable. Quiet neighborhood and within walking distance to a cute lakefront park. While the listing states there are 2 bedrooms, access to the second bedroom and the bathroom requires passing through the first bedroom, so it is not a truly private space, which is something to consider depending on who you are travelling with.”
