”A disappointing experience. The place is beautiful, but it seems the owners have not given money for upkeeping investments. The chairs in our room were stained. The telephone did not work (we got a new one when requested), the tap was not only dripping - water was literally pouring. We had to keep the door closed so we could sleep. The tap was not mended during our 3-night stay. The hotel has bicycles you can borrow to ride around. 70 % of them are in undrivable condition. It is such a shame...

”Our stay was amazing!! The property is so beautiful and peaceful yet we were never bored. Our room was the apartment above the cellar and was very private with an incredible view over the vineyard and mountains. We enjoyed the spa and pool as well as several meals at the restaurant. ” This house is very large with a full kitchen two bedrooms and a living room that is fully equipped with everything that you need. It is located on a beautiful vineyard with fruit trees that you are allowed to pick. The owner is an expat from America and very nice however he insisted that we paid cash and when we were allowed to pay credit card we had to pay at a higher exchange rate than what was agreed upon on hotels.com. ”This property listing is misleading. It was pitched as being at the fancy Vines Resort, which is technically true. However, the house is nowhere near the resort. It’s alone in the middle of vineyards, completely isolated on rocky unpaved roads. You either need a car or car service to get to anything. There are no taxis. You’re stuck.
