Alpine Cabin - Rhododendron

Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, this 5 bedroom/2 bathroom home has something for everyone. Recently remodeled this home sleeps 10-12. This home has a well appointed kitchen for making whatever your heart desire. A game room with pool, air hocket, table tennis, foosball. Close to Mt.Hood Village(7 minutes), Ski Bowl(22 mins), Sandy River, lots of trails. Outside is a fire pit, hot tub, outdoor dinette, water fall, gazebo, and covered deck. Seasonal pool, tennis courts, and basketball.

Everything was clean and comfortable. The air hockey table was a hit, but the arcade game buttons were confusing and there was no start button which the games would say “push start”. Also the foosball table was lopsided and the balls just rolled to the side so we could successfully play it.

Family snow vacay

This house was perfect for our group of 11. Plenty of room, beds, and a great play area with ping pong etc. Bedding and towels were a very good quality. Kitchen was well stocked too. But the best of all was the host’s generosity with an early check in. I get that the house has to be clean and available for this, but this was at no charge. We will rent this home again!Debbie

Uneven stay

3 coffee makers but no wineglasses. Plenty of towels but no soap or shampoo in the showers. The water feature outside was not working. Blinds in living room were broken and could not be adjusted. Communication with host was late in coming so frustrating. He called asking if fire alarms were on one might but they were not. Very strange! Also the gamjng condole was not working.

Nice Mountain Getaway!

We loved that this place had enough rooms and beds for everyone. The hot tub was amazing. Game room was fun. There wasn’t much in the way of supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, etc. so you need to bring extra if you want more than one. There were minor issues that we didn’t need or pay attention to like screen off window, closet door off track, and screen door off patio bedroom side, but these didn’t take away from the stay as we didn’t use them. Communication with host was great and responsive. No cell service for most of the stay, which can be great in a way. Lol we would stay again.

Family Birthday

Nice home set up for visitors, lots of TVs in room, a game room, cozy wood stove and a Jacuzzi. Best of all for a family get together, there was plenty of off street parking.

Christmas Cabin 2023

Host was very responsive to texts and emails. He helped me with a few issues and questions. Vrbo description listed fenced back yard, yard was mostly fenced and had a zip line type thing for one dog. House was generally clean, upstairs large bedroom had some garbage under bed and upstairs bathroom smelled faintly of urine. I felt like i had to rewash kitchen dishes, flatware, and pots/pans as there was fingerprints and some oil film. not sure if the dishes were put away from the dishwasher dirty? Hot tub was super clean and nice! Plenty of room for all our family and friends to visit and play board games. Wish there was more lighting in the main area. Had mostly what we needed in the kitchen - loved the waffle maker! There were no wine glasses but we made do. Note to future guests: 2 bedrooms on the main floor. 1 with king bed and 1 with queen. Queen bedroom also has a recliner chair. Large bathroom on main floor with super nice washer and dryer. Upstairs has large bedroom with queen bed and sitting area. Second bedroom upstairs has two twin beds on the floor (perfect for littles) and a fun toddler table/chairs. 5th bedroom is in the remodeled garage with 2 queen/twin beds, has a door to separate from the gaming space. Those that stay in the this room has to come into the house to use the bathroom. The gaming space has a futon.

Wonderful home!

My family stayed at this property this summer and loved it! The home had a lot of extra kitchen amenities (I loved the double waffle maker)! My kids loved the game room and separate living space. I highly recommend staying here!

More than disappointed, horrible experience with host communication

Some notes about the house: -It is not a fully fenced yard suitable for dogs. - in the lower queen bedrooms, there is not a screen on one of the windows and the screen for the sliding door was off the track when we arrived. Also the blinds for the slider are broken and hard to use. There was a bottle of KY jelly left in the night stand, awkward and weird to find. The smoke detector was blaring and shining at 3am, we took it down. -in the front living room, the blinds do not go up, after i called the host when he would not respond to messages, he mentioned they are rechargeable, we could not find the charger. -the king bedroom needs new light bulbs -in the garage and game room there are no face plates on outlets, and no window screens. The bed was broken (fell through the bed frame when my 40lb neice sat on it). My brother had to fix it. We were very disappointed that the highlights and main reasons we picked this house were unavailable without being told prior to arriving. Access to the community pool and use of the hot tub were important for our family and it was more than a bummer to not get to do so from lack of communication and attention. I had to call the host because he was not responding to messages, he told me that he would get us access to the pool as soon as possible, yet we never heard from him again. The hot tub was cold, he said to hit the buttons harder. That did nothing. We paid the cost of the listing for what was listed and felt deceived.

We truly enjoyed the time spent with our family in this home. We especially enjoyed the game room, talking and laughing around the fire pit and spending time in the kitchen/living room.
