”We sat in the dining room talking and drinking (what I considered to be a really good) complimentary Porto until after midnight. The building itself is straight out of another era with thick walls of rock but still with all the amenities you would want. This was the best stay I’ve had in Portugal so far. ”

”The rooms are in a modern build anex and are comfortable, clean and very pleasant. My room and many rooms have a small balcony, air conditioning and great space. We were able to park our motorbikes right next to reception, it felt safe. Breakfast was good and there is a nice restaurant within walking distance by the river ( I think it’s owned by the same people). Staff were friendly and helpful.
