”I love this simple , rustic , but amazing little hotel. Right on the beach, easy walk to the beach area, playground , restaurants , seven eleven. Staff is great , gentleman that stays in the office is very friendly and helpful. I stayed in a room with 2 separated areas.”

”Very budget oriented, but that's all I needed. The only complaint I have is that the toilet paper was so scratchy that I was bleeding after only one night. This must be corrected or bring your own toilet paper if you stay here!”

”I accidentally made a reservation at this hotel and the quickly canceled. I got the day wrong. I apologized when trying to get a hold of the hotel, left numerous messages but no one acknowledged or called me back. I was charged.”

”We LOVE Lisa. She always makes sure we are so well taken care of when we stay here. The breakfast is also wonderful and that combined with the heated indoor pool are why my family loves this location more than staying at one of the hotels attached to a casino.”

”Took a long time to make ice. Bed was a little squeaky, mattress in need of replacement. Otherwise, no complaints. Staff friendly and helpful, everything clean and well maintained. Plenty of convenient parking. Great location.”

”Interesting and unique place ! The bed was super comfortable, slept great. Rooms very small and no extra frills, it worked for the main purpose, sleep, shower. Perfect place for travelers to meet and mingle. Mostly spent our time in Truckees many restaurants/bars or Northstar skiing. I would recommend if looking for a lil more affordable place ! Personally a lil pricy for a hostel, but its Truckee, tourist town and close to skii resorts, thats just the way it is !”

She didn't offer us another room. The beds were hard. We didn't sleep because of restricted breathing. I went to take a shower and there wasn't a shower curtain. At that point I was extremely upset. I called and complained. Still no sympathy of the contaminated smell . She asked if I wanted her to bring a shower curtain. She...
