This was a wonderful place to stay. The setting was beautiful and the cabin was very comfortable and well stocked. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and hope to be back some day. The views from the property were amazing. We highly recommend this location. Randal was a great host and takes pride in ensuring this property is well maintained and very comfortable for guests.

Randal and Debbie were absolutely amazing! Their hospitality is top notch! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at their property. The house was super cozy and so peaceful! Loved seeing the deer out on the property every morning and evening! Highly recommend staying at this property! Randal kept us updated on any weather updates that we needed to be aware of as we went during the time of bad rain and flooding was happening near the area. We were not affected but it was nice to continue to have updates from someone local. Thank you Randal and Debbie for allowing us to stay at your beautiful property and all your amazing hospitality!

The R-Bar-D Ranch and Guest Cabin are truly one-of-a-kind, offering a serene setting to explore the region's abundant beauty. Words cannot fully express the genuine hospitality Randal & Debbie provided throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived we felt at home.

Amazing View!

My wife and I had a wonderful time and our stay could not have been any better! Great location with an amazing view. The hosts went above and beyond and obviously care a great deal about their guests!

Beautiful and relaxing

On top of this stay being a dream come true with breathtaking sights Randall was everything you would hope for in a host. I would highly recommend staying at this site.

Absolute five star VRBO

This was by far one of the best vacation homes we have stayed at. The well-maintained, luxury cabin and property far exceeded our expectations and Randal was an excellent informative host. We would highly recommend this idyllic property to anyone staying in the area.

This cabin is just absolutely exquisite, and that feels like an understatement! We are so grateful to hosts like Debbie and Randal who open their homes to travelers and let us share their slice of paradise. The photos don’t even do justice to the spectacular mountain views from the back porch, the kitchen windows, the master bedroom, the ranch meadows! We watched a tiny spotted fawn follow its mom through the grass while she grazed right next to the back deck. And that was just one of the many, many highlights of our stay. The ranch was a perfect basecamp for exploring nearby trails and the towns of Ridgway, Ouray, and Telluride. Our only regret was not getting to visit with Randal more and our only complaint is that we couldn’t stay forever!

Quiet, well appointed, and spacious home ideal for a working vacation. Gorgeous grounds and views. Dog loved it, too! Randal was warm and accommodating, and his updates on area road closures saved me hours of time and energy. Genuine, fine hospitality. I recommend staying here.

Ridgway classic and beautiful log cabin

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful authentic log cabin. The property is well maintained and the setting awesome. Randal, the property owner, is nearby and is very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

A MUST stay!!!

We stayed for two weeks and loved every minute. Randal was accommodating, a great host but didn’t hover. The location of the property was quiet, the property was clean and an exceptional get away!!! We will stay here again when in the area.

Fish Colorado; Mountain Relaxing

Beautiful property with a nice mix of tradition (Western Mountain) and modern (facilities). We enjoyed fishing the mountain streams, walking the property and chatting with our accessible and everready host, Randall. It’s a beautiful place with great ambience and style.

Randal and Debbie were so hospitable, they knew we were arriving late and set the heat and lamps on so that it was easy to navigate and warm.They were also so kind, and communication was great and easy. Thankful to have experienced this great cabin, it was the get away we needed and so close to all the things to explore. We saw a lot of wildlife on the property/near by which was great. The cabin was so inviting and cozy. Also - the view from the main bedroom each morning was special and appreciated!

Perfect House and Location

We loved every minute of our visit to the Ranch Guest House! The house is charming, well furnished and comfortable! The location was perfect for hiking, fishing and exploring the towns of Ridgeway, Ouray and Telluride. The owner Randal was so helpful and friendly and made our stay one that we will remember forever!

Mountain Getaway

I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for me and my two Goldens. Lots of room to take a casual walk and close to town. Randal was so gracious and the guest house was ideal. Hope to make a repeat visit next year.

First trip to Ridgway, Ouray, Telluride area

We came to the area to hike and take in the beauty of the area and we were not disappointed. This property location was perfect for us to enjoy these areas. This is an outstanding property! Randall is well acquainted with the area and was so helpful. We hope to return some day.

Amazing house

Located about 10 minutes outside of Ridgway, the house is beautiful and has everything you need. Great location for day trips to Telluride, Ouray/Silverton and the Black Canyon. Loved the back deck and the outdoor seating. The owners were wonderful, helpful and responsive. 100% recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Great spot to decompress

We had a terrific time in Ouray County staying at this great getaway. Randy is a lovely host, happy to help with anything. We had all the amenities we needed including deer at our back door. Can’t wait to return.

Handsome guest house, stunning scenery!

This guest house, surrounded by some of Colorado’s best scenery, was itself beautiful, spacious, well appointed, and extremely comfortable. The host, Randal, has superbly thought out the needs of guests, and is quickly responsive to any questions. And if you would like suggestions on what to see or do in this gorgeous area, he has impeccable recommendations that will generate fond memories.

Awesome basecamp in Ridgway

If you're looking for a quiet place to explore the San Juans, this is an incredible option. Perfectly appointed cabin on a ranch with tons of space. About a 10-minute drive down to Ridgway. The host, Randal, is super welcoming and available to answer any questions. Really a great place to stay in SW Colorado.

Exceptional Stay - Can't Wait to Return!

I recently had the pleasure of staying in this house for my vacation, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. Randal is incredibly accommodating and responsive, making the entire stay seamless and enjoyable. The house was spacious, clean, well-appointed, and provided all the comforts of home. The location was perfect, offering easy commute to Telluride and Ouray, while maintaining a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. I am already looking forward to my next visit.

Stunning property, excellent stay!

R Bar D Ranch was stunning where we had an experience like no other! Beautiful scenery and quiet, serene surroundings. Saw deer just about everyday. The cabin was just as it was explained in the rental summary and then some. Enjoyed walking our dog around the property. Randal was very communicative and it was a pleasure getting to know. Enjoyed his company and learning about the history of his property. We highly recommend this property and can’t wait to visit again!
