”Rustic Ridge is a fabulous property offering a unique, rural experience. The cabin includes several outdoor spaces for enjoying the beautiful views, grilling, or relaxing around the fire. The cabin was impeccably clean, well stocked and had very comfortable beds. Jacquline is definitely a super-host with quick and thorough communication. ”We stayed here for a getaway weekend from Chicago for hiking and nature. The cabin felt very remote (it was!) and everything was as advertised. We used all the amenities including the hot tub, tv, and fire pit. It was very clean. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. ”Loved the cabin. Clean. Loved being in walking distance to a farm pond, and activities in the pavilion area. Wasn’t far away from our hiking locations. I like that it is pet-friendly if we choose. Had everything we needed including dry wood for firepit. We had special guests (cats in the area) hung with us on the porch and around the fire. Overall great location. Great experience! ”

”First trip to Shawnee for our anniversary and we chose this cabin because of it’s location and were very pleased. Super close to garden of the gods which is great. Easy to find and check in, host checked in with us multiple times to make sure all was good, nice clean cabin! Our only complaint was that the neighboring 8 cabins were pretty close so it wasn’t the most private, but it also gives you a little area to walk around which is nice.
