”My wife and wanted a short and sweet trip for the weekend and this was the perfect place. Loved the views. Sunrise from the wall of windows was beautiful. Place was beautiful.”

”We stumbled upon this property after searching for somewhere fun to go for a couple of days during our kids spring break. This property didn’t disappoint! The game room and hot tub were a huge hit. Also, we ventured into WV for a day trip and then came back for a yummy dinner and the kids played pool at the Burn Barrel. The fact that all linens were included, plus we were able to bring our dogs were a major plus!!”

”It is hidden and on a river, it's really beautiful there. We were there when there was no other residence, so my pup and my grandchildren were able to play. It's in the front yard.The owner was very nice and accommodating”

”The Luxury Moose Retreat was absolutely amazing!! I have stayed at several rental properties in Basye, VA over the years, but this one was outstanding. It's less than 1 mile from Bryce Resort. Drive way large enough for 6-8 cars. The kitchen is spacious, more than enough counter space, high quality utensils, pots, pans, gas stove, there's even a wine fridge! The bedrooms are spacious, bright, clean, beautiful. There was not a single thing during our stay that we were inconvenienced...

”We had a great time staying here and using the house as a base for hiking. The kids loved the football table and the hot tub was clean and hot!”

The location is great with easy access to Shenandoah National Park and to everything you might need in Front Royal while simultaneously enjoying a peaceful location that feels off the beaten path. ”
