Modern cabin near Trollheimen National Park

Our cabin, Lysthus, opens up to nature with large windows that let in daylight from morning to evening. The bright and open common area in the center creates a natural gathering spot, while the distinctive design with a recessed central section provides several cozy outdoor seating areas sheltered from the wind and weather.



Warm wooden surfaces characterize the interior and create a cozy atmosphere. The cabin features all modern amenities, including a sauna. Multiple zones both indoors and outdoors offer opportunities for both socializing and quiet time.



A roofed area on three sides allows you to enjoy the outdoor space regardless of the weather. The simple and serene design blends harmoniously into the surrounding landscape. Here, you are always close to nature.



Great hiking opportunities start right from the cabin, including a trail to Skålkleiva with stunning views. Trollheimen National Park is nearby, offering spectacular scenery and hikes to Trollheimshytta. The Surnadal ski area, Hæmstelt Bakery, and the Ski Museum in Rindal are also worth a visit.
